A:AnswerThere are no cardstock settings for this printer only "thick" and "thicker" paper settings which do not say cardstock anywhere. So I'd assume even if it worked it would curl the output. Chances are the thermal transfer characteristics of cardstock would not allow the toner to adhere as well as it would papers fitting the normal, bond, laser paper, multipurpose paper, thick and/or thicker paper categories.
A:AnswerNo it does not. It is listed as a 2 sided printer, but the only way you can print 2 sided is manually. Print one side and then the other. So I guess ALL printers would be 2 sided printers according to this standard. Very disappointed that I thought I was getting a printer that would print 2 sided only to find out it does not!!
A:AnswerRight you are. There are MANY third party vendors that sell replacement ink and toner cartridges for far less OEM. There are two I have used for quite some time. Both provide excellent products and MUCH better customer service than OEM. Very easy to Google them.
A:AnswerYes. You have to partially remove the paper tray. On top of the tray is a slot that will accommodate envelopes one at a time. Load in an envelope, push the tray back in and then print.
A:AnswerYes it will. You will receive messages about low toner, but if you check the option to print in black and white only during the print preview or other similar step depending on the program, the printer will still print using only black toner.
