No this mount have solid adhesive , I would not use on windshield , this product is not design for windshield .

I probably wouldn’t stick it to the windshield because the adhesive with probably wear down faster with direct sunlight.

It will stick for sure. Check local laws regarding having items attached to windshield. If it obstructs your view, it may be a ticket. But if it is legal, it will definitely work.

Unless you use a better glue and heat resistant. The self sticking pad is no good even for the dash. The sticker on my dash did not hold the bracket alone less if holding the phone
