You must have an appointment for sure. Then we brought it in, gave the Geek agent all the needed info to setup the new PC and also transfer all our data from our old PC to the new one. We had it back the next day. They did a good job.

Either way, they will check the computer and if necessary, they will keep it to diagnose exactly what is wrong. Also in my case, the computer had to be sent to Dell to be repaired. With the pandemic expect a longer wait time in situations like this. It is better to have an appointment. Geek Squad is accomodating either way.
