You have to do this kludge, to use the Shark robot to vacuum multiple floors: 1. Use the application on only one of the floors. That means that use of scheduling, in-app no-go zones, named room limited cleaning, and voice commands are only possible on that ONE floor you use the app on.; and 2. For the other floors: after the robot returns to the docking station (on the floor to use the app on), turn off the robot then carry it to another floor. Then, set it on the floor, and turn the robot power switch back on. NOW, click the on-robot button that says ’clean’ (NOT using the app!!!!). This will start the robot, and it will clean. Remember to use the keep our magnetic strips because there’s no app you can define keep out zones in, on this floor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We just recently bought the Shark AI and we just did a trial run upstairs and it was as easy as picking the unit up, placing it upstairs and hitting the Clean button on top of the sweeper. It did a great job without having a map.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We would like to let you know that the Robot can not map multiple levels. You would be able to manually take the unit to a second level to clean, then when finish manually put the Robot back on the dock.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I took my Shark RV2601 ustairs, put it down and, without opening the app, pressed the "clean" button on top. It did a pretty good job of finding its way around the rooms and cleaning. You don't need to delete maps if you don't use the app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. To clean a second floor, you need to delete the original map.
