Is this bag padded for drop protection? I got a brand new laptop for Christmas and am very nervous about breaking it when i travel to and from work. null

There is a layer of padding between sections but Ive used a foam padded macPro case inside to resolve that fear.

Well its not a sleeve, so they're going to put padding strategically throughout the bag. In YOUR case I'd make sure to use the laptop sleeve in the middle main compartment which also has a little extra padding just to be safe.

It is padded, but of course, it also depends on the kind of drop, it is well padded for daily use and protection.

Yes it is padded can handle drops I dropped it five times now no problems it protected the computer and tablet super nice bag I have this bag over a month now its holding up for me I in maintenance its working great

It doesnt have the most padding but i have had mine for a while, havent dropped it, but i love mine and have had no issues.
