Depending upon what you mean by outdoor the answer could be yes. My Sonos is sitting on a shelf on my outdoor Lanai but not exposed to rain. Music is streamed to this speaker from my WIFI which is indoor and approximately 40 feet away.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Play:1 is moisture-resistant, and can be used in a humid environment (bathroom, covered porch in humid climate, etc.). It is not water-resistant, and should not come into contact with liquid water. At present, there are no Sonos speakers that can be left outside in the rain.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've found no Sonos player that is advertised as being waterproof, probably since they are electrically powered. The Play-1 and Play-3 models are described as water / humidity resistant. Either is recommended for areas such as bathrooms as long as they are not placed in direct contact with water, such as in the shower.
