Using HDMI cables I connected my cable box to the speaker and then to the input on the tv. Yes, connect the dvd player to the sound bar and signal will go the tv from there
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should be able to plug directly to sound bar via HDMI
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are using an all SONY system then everything goes into the TV and it then distributes all sound operations to the sound bar. If it isn't working in this way, read your instructions. You need to tell the TV what you want it's default method to be.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It goes directly to the TV. You would need to hook-up your DVD and cable box to the TV directly. Once the soundbar is set-up the TV will automatically detect the speaker system and the soundbar will work with your DVD and cable box without requiring a direct connection to them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well I don't know how your tv is setup. My tv have 3 HDMI ports. First one ( ARC i think ) then port 2 and 3. I plugged my Sony to HDMI 1(arc) and the blue ray player in port 2 and Nintendo in port 3. Anytime I turn my tv on sound will go through the Sony sound bar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've been able to plug my AT&T Uverse cable box and PS4 into the speaker via HDMI cable. There is an output cable that runs from the speaker to the TV.
