Hi Florida, Thank you for your interest on the KD75X85K TV! The TV stand depth is 16 1/4 (156 mm). Also the TV stand width (STANDARD POSITION) is 52-3/8 inch (1,330 mm).

I had the same concern. I measured my electric fireplace console and it was in adequate so i opted for a wall mount which the Geek Swuad did with great skill. The 75" tv is really big when you see it in your home. Also, if you put it above your dresser you may want to consider wall mount as well because you'll have less neck strain when lying in bed. Hope this helps.

I am not sure because I have it on my wall, but I think it is around 2-3 inchs
