QuestionWhen will this camera be available for easy purchase( i.e. no back order ... pretty much no wait)? I really would like to preorder this but it seems like I would have to wait for a while. Maybe my assumption is wrong and I hope it is.

- Answer I believe they start shipping in about a month from now on Dec 30th or Dec 31st. I'm trying to pre-order also but no luck yet. I believe the combo with the kit lens is available but I'd rather put that money towards a lens of my liking. Good Luck!

QuestionWhen will the body be available to order? I’m trying to stay faithful to Best Buy and not buy from other companies offering preorders, but it’s really hard when there’s no way of knowing when they will be available.

QuestionWhy doesn't Best Buy have a release date but every other retailer does? The release date was announced when the camera was announced in Oct as Dec 30th which has since been updated to Dec 23rd by everyone including the sony website.

QuestionI’m not sure what’s going on… but when I take a photo the LCD screen it shows a clear picture when I upload it through a USB to SD Reader to upload on my iPad some pictures look focus and others are blurry. Am I doing something wrong?

QuestionI bought this camera back in October 2023 and so far this entire time it has had a lot of shutter distorting. Is this something that I will just have to deal with or is there a solution to this major problem?

- Answer It's a bit more prominent when recording in 4k. Though there are ways you could reduce the effect by either 1. adjusting to a higher shutter speed with a minimum 180-degree shutter angle 2. turn on stabilization on the camera or use a stabilizer such as a tripod or gimbal. 3. use slower panning movements. 4. use a rolling shutter repair effect such as the one in Premier Pro 5. Record in 1080p to reduce the rolling shutter. 6. If you're recording vertical-styled content and turn your camera sideways, there'll be less rolling shutter compared to recording horizontally.

- Answer No It doesn't unfortunately as it is region locked. But some third party softwares claim to be successful to unlock the software which might brick your phone.
