“Does it have a 30 minute limit for shooting in 4k video? Are there overheating problems?”

• Most, if not all, DSLR cameras have a limit of recording 30 minutes. If you are looking to purchase a camera for the use of capturing long videos I recommend going for a Camcorder. They have unlimited recording, as long as you have memory and battery to back it up, and Sony has a selection of camcorders that perform well in fast action recording. Not to mention the great autofocus that you can get and large distance the camcorders offer. I did however start off with a Sony 6100 which did not have a time limit in recording, but it was a crop sensor camera, it was goo quality, good price, and offered 4K recording. So short answer yes this camera does indeed have a limit of 30 minutes, but it does record in 4K Video.
