I have mine connected to my Bose Accoustamass and it sounds excellent. I, too, was tired of having the standard Bose speaker and this complemented my set up very well
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If I remember correctly Bose receivers use RCA type connectors to connect their speakers to their receiver so it might not be compatible. If your Bose Acoustimass receiver (or whichever receiver you're using) has speaker wire inputs (black and red inputs to connect a speaker), then yes you can add this Sony center to your setup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes...I just did this with a slightly different center channel for a relative. You unplug from the receiver and plug this in instead. leave the old center out altogether.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, that is exactly what I and it worked great. In fact I have dumped the my Acoustic Mass 10 sub woofer and plugged the cubes directly into my amp. Replaced the Bose sub woofer with a JBL 12 in powered subwoofer. What a big difference!! Just set your amp to drive the cubes as "small" speakers.
