- Answer It's sold by BestBuy here in the US so, of course ot's a US model. YOu're thinking of one of those New York camera shops. Bestbuy doesn't sell grey-market cameras.

Questionhow does this perform in low light situations as well as in backlit situations? for the latter is there a button to properly expose or does the cam do it automatically?

- Answer If you are refering to Picture Effect, you can access many variety of filters by going to Menu -> Camera Settings -> Picture Effect -> Desired Setting "Soft Focus" filter might give your the soften desired effect you are looking for

QuestionThe PC smart remote app appears to want a USB connection to connect to the camera. Since the camera has the ability to connect to my studio's wifi, I assume it's for allowing smart remote. If not, what is it for?

- Answer Hi Jjg! The Smart Remote Control is a camera application that allows you to control the camera remotely in conjunction with a remote control application on a smartphone or tablet using Wi-Fi. It's not applicable for a PC. -Anthony

- Answer no this model does not shoot high frames per second, if you tried slowing the video you did take on it it would not be very smooth. the new rx1000 m4 does 960fps, which can then slowed down very slow and look smooth.
