- Answer Mine doesn't do that at 50% battery charge. However, the sound quality deteriorates at few minutes before the battery is completely discharged.

- Answer Hello Nate426. I love both speakers, the harmon bass is off the chain. If you love bass than this is the speaker for you. Now the Sony has bass but the clarity in the music ,you can hear violins, guitars and keyboards clearly. It depends on what song is playing on the Sony where the bass comes across really good even with the extra bass button. I've purchased 4 Sony X40 and 2 Harmon bluetooth speakers. Its your preference on how you listen to music. But as I said I love both. I hope this helps

- Answer If you mean to connect an actual Microphone, then no you wouldn't be able. You are however able to use these to make and receive phone calls over Bluetooth as it does offer that capability. The Aux (Stereo Mini Jack) is only for input of Stereo/Mono Audio.

- Answer If you called Sony they may replace the product even w/ it being out of warranty. What was the Mfg. Warranty Duration? Less than a month? Also, you wouldn’t need to worry about it w/ a Best Buy Geek Squad Cov’g Plan. Something this pricy it’s imperative to get the cov’g plan! You’d be getting a brand new one w/ the Plan & it lasts for 2 years!
