I did a quick look through on the guide when i first got mine and i did notice that it is pretty temperature picky. It has a recommended temp of 40-96 degrees F. may be a little lower then 40 but its somewhere in that range. I also read that when it gets to hot, maybe from direct sunlight or charging while playing it may reduce volume or even shut off to protect the unit from any damage, to the battery or speakers. I have not ran mine a ton since i got it or outside so im not sure as to how fast it may heat up on its on without any sunlight or outside heat. But this may be what you are experiencing. Hope it helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since I have had my XB40 unit, I have not experienced a problem with low power. I do make sure that the unit is properly charged before using it. Especially taking into consideration all of the features this unit has.
