Will it lay U.K. version/region Blu-ray DVD’s? Thanks null

I have U.K. DVD versions of the Blue-Ray. My problem is understanding what some of the words/phrases mean or what they are saying. I have been to the UK many times, I have had to tell people that Americans speak slower than UKers. Even on the DVDs, people of the UK speak very fast. Also having working with them in East Africa, I found many to swallow the middle part of the word. Definitely, the UK has many accents and dialects. Some I just close my ears to because I do not understand them.
