• Haven't figured out the apps but I am using an RCA remote I had left over from another TV.

• Hello Kayleamm, Great question, Android has a remote app Call "Android TV" which will allow you to pair your mobile device to the TV to control it from your mobile device. Hope this helps, TCL Customer Support
