How do open the TCL remote? I cannot open it. It's poorly designed is an understatement. I have attempted numerous times and so has my fiance. It's ridiculous. We are thinking go back to a best buy which would be a huge incovenience. null

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one to encounter this issue. I honestly thought that I was going to break the remote trying to open it. I was able to muscle it open but this honestly is one of the harder remotes that I've ever had to open.

There is an arrow on the back of the remote. Put your thumb on the 3 lines in front of the arrow and push, Use your other hand to hold the front of the remote.

There are arrow like indicators on the back or the remote showing to gently press and slide the back of the remote down. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
