This TV features built-in speakers that can be used for audio. Some of our customers elect to add a soundbar or speakers to further enhance their viewing experience. This TCL TV is also compatible with most soundbars and speakers and can be connected via HDMI ARC, Optical, Bluetooth, or the 3.5mm headphone jack. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Get a soundbar. Even a cheap one with a little sub is better then tv speakers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not necessarily the TV already supports Dolby atmos and DTX but if you want a more surround sound experience, I would recommend getting a sound bar with at least 5.1 but the TV speakers alone are more than sufficient.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do I need a soundbar for the TLC Class S5 tv
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had the same TV for the past 6 months & yes get a sound bar. I have the Vizio 5.1 system, 2 satellite speakers & a subwoofer. The thing rocks, also has a remote for the sound bar. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine got surprisingly loud w/o my stereo system connected initially but like all TV speakers - overall they suck, all built in TV speakers suck and I feel you should always have at least a soundbar if not a full stereo/HiFi system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This TV has great sound. I had to rely heavily on closed captioning with the sound almost maxed out with our old smart TV. We have built in home speakers but haven’t bothered to connect yet, new TV has Bluetooth so we can connect to a portable speaker with Air Play.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its similar to whatever TV you're probably used to by nature of the speaker placement/direction. In my case, I always have a fan on. So, I need to turn the tv volume up until I can hear all of the dialogue over the fan. A soundbar enables me to keep the overall volume lower at night because the voices project through the noise.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The tv speakers sound good. IMO. But I did buy a soundbar for the added clarity and for music streaming. I went with Sonos Beam gen 2 soundbar. With the mini sub. Sounds great for medium sized room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If it's within your budget, I'd recommend a receiver/amp (often called an AVR) and starting with some nice bookshelf speakers. You can always add a sub, center, and surrounds later if you like. Even a cheap AVR + decent 2.0 bookshelf speakers will blow away any soundbar.
