Only for about 30 feet when it will lose the Bluetooth connection to your phone. It will show you the last location your car was until it lost connection
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there, Thanks for asking! Your Tile will be able to update its location in your app as long as it connects via Bluetooth. This can be with your devices Bluetooth, or from the community with our Community Find feature (https://bit.ly/36sR14a). Please note that because Tile uses Bluetooth to keep track of your things, it can find something that is within up to a 400 foot range. Because Tile doesn't offer the same live tracking that a GPS device would, it's not the most reliable source for keeping up with something that's moving around relatively quickly. Send us an email to [email protected] if you have any additional questions or concerns! We're always here to help. All the best, MG @ Tile
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you cannot track a car, unless you also leave the connected phone in the car.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can track whatever you want to track... but it's not an active feed like a lo jack is, so don't expect to track your car down quickly
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think so. I've noticed that on the app, it will give the last known location of the tile. However, I don't know if that means that the phone has to be in range and it doesn't always update right away. Sometimes, I can be home but the app will say the last location of the tile is at my work. Let's just say, I wouldn't get a tile specifically to track a car, but it's worth a shot if the car is lost and you know a tile is in it. Could be a starting point.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are within 150 feet then yes. Like if you lose your car in the parking lot, sure. But if you want to track a moving car, I'd suggest a Smart things Tracker from Best Buy. Provided you already have a Samsung Smart things hub.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, they work with Bluetooth so if something is more that a few hundred feet it won’t pick it up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you leave the tile in the car, yes!!!
