The range of the tracking isn’t that far. You’d be better off with an AirTag.

Yes! When your cell phone is within bluetooth range you can ring the Tile to find the lost item by sound. When your phone goes outside of the Tile bluetooth range Tile will mark the bluetooth separation location on a map in the Tile app. Additionally, when your Tile is outside of your phones bluetooth range you can take advantage of our Tile Network. This is where anyone else in the world that has a the Tile app and they come in close range of your lost Tile it will update this as the last seen location in your Tile app. Tiles are a great way to prevent lost luggage.
