Yes! They are much better than then standard headset . . . sounds are clearer and more crisp. The standard ones do not last very long.

I only use them for Semi-Pro audio, but if the Xbox lets them work right, they will be great.

Yes totally buy this headset. I've had for a couple of months no and no issues. It has a mute party switch (instead of pressing the button on the controller port) Also the talk piece and be pulled out and put back in.The Xbox Official one, is kinda poor quality. It can easily break, not as comfy on the ears as this one. My Xbox official one stopped working and had to buy another one, and guess what the other one broke too. In the period of 7-9 months I had bought two xbox official headsets, and both broke...not worth your money, especially for the price.

This headset is a great improvement over the standard. Good entry level headset for the price.

The regular headset is $20 and i got this one on sale for $35. It is DEFINITELY worth the extra fifteen or twenty dollars. It is much more durable and has sturdy mic which is removable so you can use them like normal headphones when watching movies.
