It says it is waterproof and it floats. I haven't tested that theory out, but I have had both of mine out at night when it gets really foggy and misty. The sound wasn't effected one bit.

Yes it is, up to 3 meters for 30 mins. Make sure to give it a good rinse after the pool or the ocean, as salt/pool chemicals can break down the waterproof seals over time if NOT rinsed. We have tested it & we rinse it with a strong sprayer. Works great.

Absolutely!  We bought it for our boat.  It has spent plenty of time floating in water and sound is not affected.

I can attest to the Wonderboom's waterproofing. We throw it in the pool, throw it into the river when we go floating, take it camping, disc golfing, everywhere and it's still kicking after 4 years. Just be careful to make sure it is DRY before opening the charging port and plugging it in. Duh, but it's gotta be said....
