• Hi Doug, The mesh is metal, not fabric. The mesh is along one of the long sides of the bluetooth subwoofer and front and top side of the sound bar itself. Cheers - Julie

• It is a flat black metallic surface. Pretty decent sound for the price point in my opinion as it fills up our media room with the sub in the back on the room.

• The mesh is made of some type of metal. A magnet stuck to it, so its not aluminum. Seems pretty sturdy.
