- Answer It’s part of the auto-climate of the product to turn off if the room temperature is 3° or more than the setpoint, as the unit has already attained the set temperature and then some, it doesn’t need to heat any more until the unit reads a lower room temperature; based upon the set point.

QuestionCan I use a smart outlet to control this heater? My question is if I turn the outlet on, will the heater come on or do I need to push the power button on the heater? I want to have the heater run from 4am to 5am via the smart outlet.

- Answer Once power is shut off it requires a manual re-start. This includes the safety pressure plate on the bottom of the device.

- Answer Vornado heaters should all be plugged directly into a standard wall outlet only. They draw 1500 watts which is too much for power strips, extension cords or other addons.

- Answer The Thermostat is set by pushing the + or - buttons. The LED screen will display the temperature setting. The instruction manual can be found on at vornado.com under help and manuals.

QuestionI set this on 75, but the display keeps going back to 68. It doesn't matter how high I set, it only displays 68. Is it broken or do I not understand the display?

- Answer The display will always show the room temperature. The unit will run to your set temperature.

- Answer Yes it stops heating once it gets 1 - 2 degree over the set temp then turns off till it cools down below set temp.
