What does Best Buy charge to install this microwave? Two questions I have an exisiting microwave that needs to be removed and this new one to be put into the same space. First, what does installation cost? Second, do I need to buy anything besides what is in the microwave box to complete the installation? In other words, does everything I need to install the microwave come in the box?

I don't know what Best Buy would charge, but my wife and I installed our over the range microwave, which I assume is what you are asking about.

If so, the question in your case is if the existing brace will work and if the holes will line up (there are 3 holes in the upper cabinet, two for supporting screws and one for the power cord). If not, then it's a question of possibly removing the existing brace and installing the new one. Then you may have to drill new holes. The brace, hardware, and Instructions were included, but we supplied our own tools. (level, screwdriver, drill, and bits). We both have experience along these lines and please note, lifting the unit into position is a two person job

Yes they do. I believe the said $120 (?) for installation. It's very easy to do. I installed mine myself. Everything you need is provided for you in the box. I had a standard (30 inchh opening) over the range microwave & this fit perfectly in the spot.

Where I live (Washington DC area), Pacific Kitchen and Home charged $119.99 for replacement of an existing over-the-range microwave. The installation hardware is included with the microwave, so there's nothing else you'll need to buy.

Install cost is pretty expensive (~$150). If you can do it yourself, definitely do that. If you know someone who can help you...offer to buy them lunch or something.

It is pretty easy to install, and everything you need comes with (though their screws strip very easily).
