• You may have it on Automatic. To override Automatic Mode, press the Manual Fan button and set it to the speed you desire. The Flashing you see might be the Plasma Wave activating on every time you turn the fan unit on. This should go away after a minute of sensing the room air. It goes from Red-Orange and the to Blue once it cleans the and circulates. Or you have a defective unit.
