I cannot get sound from my TV to play through my speakers. I have an HDMI cable from my HDMI ARC port on the TV to the HDMI OUT port on the receiver. I selected speakers ON in my TV settings. I've tried selecting TV and HDMI on the receiver but no go.. null

It goes from tv arc 
out to arc in on the receiver.

The sec on the Yamaha is generally set to audio 1    You can go into settings an choose where the arc is going to be set to
