I checked out quite a few purifiers before I chose the Sharp I am very glad that I chose this one.

Overall, the product does a good job in cleaning and humidifying the room.

After purchasing this and getting home with it, I realized way too small to work in that big of a room and returned it. Nothing wrong with it!!!

It's a little noisy, but seems to help with the air quality in my home.

I want to return it but it seems like I just missed my return date. To me, this machine dries up the air and my nose gets super dry since I started using this machine with the fact that it is a air purifier with humidification function. I really hope I can return it. It is surely quiet but not functional as described by most reviews at all.

Their plasma claster technology is amazing! When I once bought their small air purifier for my girlfriend to put close to bed, she recoverd from chronic coughing. That's why I bought one for myself. As for humidifying function, it doesn't humidify so quickly, but it doesn't make damp either. On the whole, it has humidifying and air-purifying fucntion together, and you must be relieved to get this stuff. They have been a top brand in Japan in this sectoer.

Previously had a Honeywell Air Genius that was returned because of build quality issues. After much research, settled on this Sharp unit and couldn't be happier. I have a dog that is wildly allergic to dust mites, so indoor air quality is paramount to me. The unit is well-built, extremely (shockingly) quiet on low speed, and the humidifying function has helped with the dry winter air here in Missouri. Cracked hands no more! My favorite function of this device by far though is the indoor air quality monitor. The unit will run on low speed most of the time, unless my dog has come in from outside, I'm cleaning/dusting, or any other normal chores that affect the air quality. The lights on the front of the unit will change from green to yellow/red depending on how dirty the air is, then ramp up the speed of the fan to quickly clear the air of the offender. It'll then go back down to a maintaince fan speed. A little pricey, sure, but for allergy sufferers it's well worth the money. There is less dust in my room, the air smells cleaner, and my dog isn't scratching herself nearly as much. would buy again!

Purchased this yesterday, used it overnight. While I was laying in bed the air felt thinner and easier to breathe. I felt like I had more energy. The Humidifier option is awesome and works great as well! Unit is extremely quit on low, could not hear it running from 10 feet away.

I would not have considered this except for the fact that I had received a $500 gift card for BB and did not need anything. WOW! What a gift this turned out to be! I had no idea how this would change my life. If you have forced hot air heating and/or allergies, this is A MUST. I can breathe now! It does take maintenance, filling the water daily (only in winter, I live in New England) and cleaning the filter, but it is worth it.

I use this in a one bedroom apartment and it has been amazing for my allergies and breathing. First I do not wake up with any post nasal drip or irritation. Second, I burn food pretty frequently on account of not knowing how to properly cook. It removes odors and smoke by the middle of the evening and helps to keep my apartment smelling nice and clean. I would recommend this.

I live near heavy traffic and sometimes smells, e.g., gas, rubber, etc., waft into the house. After doing research decided on the Sharp Plasmacluster. Our favorite feature is the "Quick Clean" which just clears out the room of any oders in a few minutes. It can be used without water (i.e., turn the humidifier off). This makes it lighter so easier to move where needed. It is pricey but met our needs -

I was looking for a high quality air purifier and humidifier for our newborn son. Here we live the desert in Las Vegas, it's a must have as a new parents!! I especially love the filter system and also how it looks :) It's very quiet so I almost forget it's running. I know Sharp is a trustworthy Japanese brand and I'm sure it worth the money.

Delivery from BB showed up quickly cleans and humidifies air nicely highly recommend.
