Doesn't do what it claims.

It does a poor job and will not get ice smaller than the size of snow cone chunks. My $30 Oster blender does a much better job. It's going back to the store. Food was also trapped in the handle....even after the dishwasher cleaned it.

Overpriced piece of junk!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it three months ago. Used it twice a day for protein shakes. It worked ok while it worked. This morning the power switch failed. Too many fail safes, locks, and buttons. These people cant even MAKE an appliance where the on button functions more than 180 times. Can't find the receipt. won't waste my time getting a piece of junk repaired, so into the trash it goes. I figure it cost me about 50 cents a shake..

Not what I expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Kitchenaid food processor does a better job of blending than the ninja. After several uses, the seals on the top started to stick really bad making it very difficult to remove. In turn this caused the seals to start tearing. Not really sure why this blender has such good ratings from everyone else.

Doesn't cut it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tower of blades blocks the loading of fruit and vegetables. So unless you plan on blended pure liquids this is a problem. Also once you stuff and force your load into the blender, you turn it on only to be disappointed. The blender is incapable of creating a smooth texture. Small flaky chunks are left behind. Not worth the hard-earned currency I paid. Over-priced and overrated.

Bad design... Gotta throw it away
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My kids loved this blender for smoothies. Very safe to operate. Then my son put the pitcher on the base with the handle on the left instead of on the right. And now it won't operate AND the pitcher is stuck to the base. Called the help line, and they told me to send the blender and $75 to "repair". 3 week old blender.... Straight to the trash. Awful.
