Clean light won't go off
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes a good cup of coffee BUT the clean light won't go off, even after 4 cleanings! Read reviews elsewhere. This is a problem Mr. Coffee knows about and refuses to fix.

Makes Coffee too fast; basket overflows
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The machine makes the coffee too fast. The water cannot get though the coffee grinds faster than it is coming in. The basket overfills and you get coffee grinds over the top of the filter and into the coffee. It makes it messy to clean the basket. I am using standard drip grind coffee and a standard size filter that worked fine on my previous coffee maker. If want strong coffee and use lots coffee grinds, the matter will be worse, and if you use fine grind, the matter will be worse. Note the machine does not have a "flavor" button to slow brewing down.

pot leaks ALMOST every time
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I thought I was crazy... maybe didnt dump the pot (since its stainless, maybe I forgot the night before to empty it?) Then I thought that I had over filled the reservoir (but you cant cuz ummm it only takes so much!) Last night I checked and rechecked everything! Woke up to coffee all over the place... weird thing is the pot is FULL! (which is why I am stumped! the res only holds so much yet the pot is full and coffee is all over my counter!!!) Im done... returning it today

Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bad experience from taking it out of the box on. The styrofoam was glued to the box and I literally had to destroy the box to get the package out, from there it went down hill. Water? Check. Coffee filter and coffee grounds? Check. Fresh coffee? No check. Just a flashing light and an annoying beep. According to the manual, probably the worst manual for any product ever, the flashing light is indicative of low water. It looks like they fixed the leak issues on this model. I expect a lot more after spending almost $100 on a coffee maker.

Great maker for a year....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this coffee maker just over a year ago. As of last week it quit working, when I push the "start" button it just beeps, non-stop, really loud. We took it apart, cleaned it, but nothing changed. On my way to get a new maker today!

I was gigged
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shame on Mr. Coffee! Why charge consumers for the auto-set feature when guess what..... you'll get COLD coffee! Imagine my surprise when customer service told me - "Well, you need to hot the pot (put hot water in the carafe) to warm the pot up." So how does that work when you make the coffee the night before? It doesn't. Mr Coffee doesn't realize that a $80 coffee pot is not a disposable item for someone on social security and lives 20 miles from the store.

NO COFFEE?!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read the ENTIRE manual. I took my time setting it up and making sure it was done correctly and everything was secure. When setting the clock minutes it made a strange buzz sound- and I thought OH NO. But the clock did work and I set the delay brew for the next morning. Woke up to NO COFFEE the next morning. So I pressed the "Brew now" button. STILL NO COFFEE. Packed it up, returning and never buying this brand again.

Waste of money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new coffee maker...my 8 year old Cuisinart finally had it. I hesitated to purchase a Mr. Coffee, but after reading a bunch of positive reviews I went for it. Biggest piece of junk ever, it's less than 6 months later and I am buying a new one. Coffee was never hot enough for my taste, water reservoir leaks so you can't use the preset time function. Bottom line don't waste your money on this product.

Something wrong with the Coffee Maker
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this coffee maker because of the trusted name brand and it must have been defective because it only lasted nine days. After a week of making good coffee, on day eight when brewing, coffee spilled on the counter. I thought I had adjusted the coffee pot in the wrong place but three times it did the same. I will have to return it.

Water tank leaks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this coffeemaker 7 months ago. What a waste of money. Set timer at night to brew in the morning. Well, morning comes and you get an empty coffee carafe and a kitchen counter full of water. Tried a few more times with the same result. The removable water tank is not that smart of an idea after all.
