Literally the best vacuum I've ever used! The girlfriend and I love it. Only complaint is I wish it had more attachments. It is great for our cat and dog hair problem!

Like my other Dyson I don't smell dust when I use it!! It is super convenient for stairs, my car and small jobs. It has great suction it is hard to believe it is cordless

We use this mostly on laminate wood floors and it does a great job picking up fine dust and larger chunks. We got this model because it had the extra attachment with the soft head for hardwoods. Surprisingly we actually use the standard attachment for our carpet too since its a lot easier to use than the full size Dyson. Other than the high price, the only downside is the short battery life, sometimes we don't quite get all of our floors done on one charge

As above. We first bought a Shark - similar model and were disappointed, and so went back to invest a little more in a Dyson v6 absolute - definitely worth it!

Despite misguidance by Best Buy employee I found this item which I intended to use to supplement my new Roomba 980. Found it, bought it and was surprised to find it does much more than expected.

Excellent suction power. Maneuvers easily around and underneath furniture. Power lasts for about 30mins.enough to vacuum my entire house. Easy to empty and clean.

This is my second Dyson. It has really good suction. I hope that it lasts as long as my first one which I had for 5 years. I had problems with the start button staying on.

Dyson always the best brand for vacuum. This unit is so light that even my daughter can do it herself. Best vacuum that i ever owned

My wife expressed interest in the Dyson V6 for Christmas. I was originally going to purchase the motor head model without the HEPA filter as it seemed to be the best bang for the buck, but it wasn't in stock. So, I fell back to the HEPA version without the motor head and there wasn't enough price difference to justify not getting it all. So, I bought the Absolute. My wife loves it so much that she's asked for another one to keep at the beach house.

I LOVE this vacuum! I can reach under all of my furniture to vacuum, it is so very light I don't have any back pain when I vacuum.

Works great as a quick way to vacuum without having to drag the traditional vacuum out. Helps keep the do g hair from being tracked all over the house.

I am very pleased with my new dyson. the only thing that I don't like is the battery time. other than that it does just about everything.

I have 3 cats....and lots of hardwood. I noticed one day, in the sun, while sweeping that cat fur was flying over the top of my broom. I needed something that wouldn't just push the fur around but would suck it up. It does an awesome job. And my 3 kids don't complain about sweeping the floor anymore. It picks up great and no cord makes it easier to maneuver. My husband has also used it for touchups on our stairs and says it is much easier to handle. It definitely does not have the sucking power of the bigger beasts but does what we require of it. Bonus of a hardwood "beater" was a great touch.

This vacuum is amazing! I have 2 small dogs and they shed alot. So the awesome attachments this comes with is great!! I am very happy with my purchase

I love my new Dyson cordless. I have hardwood floors and the power head for hardwood floors is great. It comes with a variety of attachments that are easy to attach. There are 2 powers settings to extend the time before the battery needs to be recharged. There's plenty of power on the lower setting but I use the higher setting when vacuuming the area rugs.

No, you're not going to vacuum an entire house with this cordless vacuum, but for daily sweeping of dark hardwood floors, vacuuming of carpeted areas or use as a hand-held vac, this V6 is tough to beat, except for the other Dyson options. It's expensive, but it's cheaper than the V10, V8 and V7. I rarely use the Max setting, because 3x the run time with normal is much more useful to me.

Defenitley a must buy for houses with pets, Carpets, or 2 stories. Lightweight and easy to use. Has all the attachments plus HEPA filter. Only 2 caveats, warranty not valid for Puerto Rico and UNPLUG when you go on vacation because your battery will die. Besides that it is an excellent machine. If the run time is a problem for you than upgrade to a newer version.

I went to the store to purchase the V6 Animal but purchased this instead since it has the additional head and HEPA filter. I could not find any info on whether the Animal version is or isn't more powerful, but we have a dog and this works well, and we have hardwood floors and the additional head is nice for that. I can clean most of my 1500sf home with this with about 20 minutes run time, but if you have a larger home I would recommend the V7 or V8. Otherwise, this is the best vacuum I have owned.

Light weight and easy to use and has great suction

Easy to use, easy to store out of the way. Great for stairs, The hard floor head picks up the small dust. Wish you could turn on without having to hold the trigger constantly.
