Great versatile vacuum

And that fact that it lightweight and takes care of those ordinary jobs like a regular vacuum gives it the five star rating. I also love that it's cordless.

I use it on my rugs since I have hardwood floors, makes it fast, simple, and sometimes fun! Makes cleaning up small mess easy, you don't have to bust out the big heavy anchored corded vacuum. I rated it only 4 stars because it does leave a few really stuck in dog hairs, but what can you do? After all it is, cordless, fun, and easy to use!

I will get all his fine hair from carpet, hardwood, in-between cushions, etc. I highly recommend this product if you have pet(s) as their are attachments for every use case.

I have a small house with mostly hard floors and it takes more than one charge to do a quick clean up. For the price i would think long and hard before getting this unit. The vacuum is a good performer it picks up dirt. The hard floor attachment works quite well this is the main reason for my purchase my only negatives i can see so far are the battery life you have to undo two screws to remove so it's not practical to change for normal use and the seals on the top of the dust container look like they may leak a little. Dyson why can't you make a 5000mah battery option for this unit it would be much appreciated and i'm sure i'm not the only person that is looking for longer run times.

Posted .Hi Miek. Its Tameka with Dyson. I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the run time of your V6 Absolute. Our cordless models are designed for quick pick ups around the home and in between cleanings. When in normal mode, you should get a run time of about 20 minutes. The V6 Absolute also has an enhancing trigger – meaning that you are only using energy when you really want to be cleaning, rather than leaving it running when you’re moving furniture or moving from one room to the next. Our technology has advanced tremendously since the first Dyson which held an overall run time of only 6 minutes. We are always looking for new ways to improve existing technologies. It sucks full dust from deep inside of carpet. Sucktion is very strong. Only concern is vaccum time is too short. If your house is big, please buy which has cord to it.
