    Absolutely love all of our Dyson products cleaning ability, this one is no different. The battery life is very poor. We can typically do one room well before it shuts down and needs to be recharged. Will probably try the Shark next time.

      Hello there,

      Thank you for your review. You are right to note that this machine is good for quick pickups. Dyson engineers researched how long people like to clean, and found that the vast majority of people clean for less than 25 minutes in one session. Many people, for example those living in apartments in metropolitan areas, find 26 minutes proves to be long enough.

      The V6 has a run time enhancing trigger – meaning that you are only using energy when you really want to be cleaning, rather than leaving it running when you’re moving furniture or moving from one room to the next. If you live in a much bigger home, we would recommend that V6 be used for in-between cleans, rather than deep whole home cleans. Our upright or canister models will be a bit more suited for these extended cleaning jobs.
