I am skeptical about the reviews of this vacuum cleaner. initially. It is not until I get one and indeed this is a great vacuum cleaner. My house has lots of hardwood floor and I like the special tool that come with this absolute v6 specifically designed for hardwood flooring. Also, it is just so easy to reach out to cleaning the ceiling and stairs.

Still working fine but battery is end of life. This product has been used infrequently. Based on web search, the battery is reasonable price and easy to replace.

Great in many ways, light, cleans well, easy storage if you mount it on the wall in a closet BUT they have battery problems. I bought mine less than a year ago. Seriously use it once a week for the 6 minutes it lasts on a single charge. So that means it's been charged 50 to 60 times. I guessing but accurate. Now the battery has burnt out. Dyson is sending a new battery for free but what's going to happen in mother year? This is a great but EXPENSIVE vacuum. But it doesn't last long enough on a charge and the battery is a problem. I'd rather have one that can run on battery AND plug in when needed. I'm considering a shark that will plug in for power. This vacuum is just about there, but needs some upgrading on power options. I'd recommend but explain these issues.

It is so nice not to have a cord to deal with. And the suction is great.

At first I was delighted with this product. After about a year, not so much. The canister is very hard to empty, because fibers migrate and mass at the top. Don't believe the pictures that show dirt falling out immediately when you open the door. The door sometimes opens when I am cleaning, possible because the door latch is located right below the switch. And now the switch seems to be failing. Power cuts in and out at random, even while the switch is being squeezed firmly. I may may soon have to toss this thing in the trash.

First the biggest pros.... I can not stress how awesome this has worked on my couch. I am able to suck up dog hair with little to no effort while creating patterns like you would with mowing your yard. It makes a difference. 10/10 Couch Cleaning Barefloors I give it a 9/10. There really has not been an issue at all cleaning anything that comes my way that wont suck up. It has moves like jagger. This thing can get in between kitchen tables and weave in and out of tight spots. I am very satisfied with mobility 8/10 Some cons.... I thought this would be great to pick up the hair/doghair that was embedded in my carpet in my car. I was way off....It did not work at all with any of the attachments. A 30 dollar shop vac is far superior when cleaning a car. 1/10 (It is awful) When cleaning the floors the attachment easily getting hairs caught up on the outside of the vaccuum which is really annoying to pick off. The worst part is the trash cannister, I have medium size hands and this thing is dreadful to scoop out the hair, you can not just flip it upside down and shake it out. Hygenic 6/10 Static Electricity. Please handle the vaccuum with a dryer sheet to combat static electricity. I get shocked all the time without it. I called Dyson to complain thinking I have a faulty vaccuum but this is very common and said use a dryer sheet. It does work but come on now! Safety ?/10 I was lucky to get this on sale. I am happy i purchased this product but at the same time I think it's worth maybe 100 dollars for the 20 minute charge you get and the versatility of the cleaner. I would reccommend if you have the money; otherwise wait it out for a much cheaper model.

Makes my life so much easier. With pets it is great to just grab and quickly clean up the pet hair without dragging out a big vacuum.

Battery life and suction is great. Pricy but I'm satisfied with performance.

This is a great vacuum! I use it for just about everything. It's not super at pet hair, but it isn't the Animal version, either. The accessories are great, and work really well! A must for dirt!

First plastic latches did not work properly. Vacuum was used only 4 times since purchase in March 2018, 5 months ago. NOW, vacuum flashes RED LIGHT.I disassembled per help sites,took it down to battery only & still Red Light Flashing. REDLIGHT still flashes when charging or when depressing the assembled switch. This is not even a year old & rarely used !!!! Dyson online HELP is worthless.

This is a pricey vacuum but I thought it would be worth it. What a mistake! The quality is terrible. We have had it less than a year and it has stopped working on Max suction. The lower setting has little suction anyway so it is useless. The dust cup broke early on. Important to note that we only use it once a week to clean the kitchen floor - not tough treatment! This should have lasted MUCH longer. Wouldn't buy a dyson product ever again.

This arrived in about a dozen parts. It did include a manual with pictures that are meaningless, and text that is about 3 points--far too small for a normal human to read. Since I don't have instructions for setting it up and using it, I am returning it to the store. Sorry, it might work OK, but for the price they could afford to have professionally-done instructions.

This machine is over complicated and needs frequent cleaning. We have experienced 3 blockages already. The cup holding the vacuumed dust fills very quickly. The machine has to be practically disassembled for cleaning since dust gets everywhere. A vacuum cleaner should be much easier to use.
