It cleans pretty well but it has a very short operating time with a long recharge requirement. It is a bit heavy too and somewhat difficult to empty as dust and dirt which adheres to the filter is difficult to remove.

The V6 is great for in between cleanings, quick clean ups or small areas as it does feature 20 minutes of constant suction in standard mode and 6 minutes on MAX power for tougher jobs.
The canister should also be emptied before the debris goes over the max line indicated on the bin. In the event that debris does go over and accumulates along the top, the canister can be removed for easier cleaning.

Had another Dyson stick vacuum and it was much better. Not sure how they could justify selling this vacuum at full price. I feel that I got a really good price on this at $199.99 which came with a lot of attachments.

Also the battery only lasts 20 minutes so you need to make quick work of what you are trying to vacuum before having to charge it up.

I've bought several other of Dyson's so called direct xonpetitor's priducts, and I will say that I was mistaken. None compare. This is the best money spent on a vacuum.

The battery should really be able to be swapped out, but alas, it is fixed inside unit and takes an awful long time to recharge.
