I was really excited to purchase this product. I have been a Dyson owner for several years and I LOVE MY FULL SIZE DYSON!!! Recently, I was diagnosed with a disease that makes my everyday activities very painful so having something lightweight that could do the job was important to me. My stairs haven't been vacuumed in months. As soon as the battery was fully charged, I put my new baby together and went to work on my stairs. I was thrilled at how much funk this machine was removing. The funk-receptacle is small so I had to empty it often, but that really doesn't bother me. What makes this product one star is the fact that I paid 300$ for a battery that lasts less than 10 minutes. That's right! I was only able to vacuum 7 stairs before my Dyson was dead as a doornail. I immediately called Dyson customer service to see if this was normal and not defective . . . guess what . . . it is totally normal! Now, I am going to have to wait 3.5 hours for the battery to recharge so I can squeeze another 10 minutes out. Since I have a large stair case, of 24 steps, it is going to take me 30 minutes of vacuum time and 11 HOURS of charge time to get my stairs clean. WTF?! Not worth it. I am returning this product until Dyson can either produce a battery that can last a reasonable amount of time, or provide multiple batteries for this vacuum that costs 300$ + tax.

It very week and battery die after 10 minutes used

I purchased this vaccuum being that it is made by a top brand. It worked fantastically at first, then it stopped working after like 5 uses. When I called customer service they fed me stupid BS and refused to let me talk to a manager. Don't Buy this it is a grand disappointment!

This is great for bare floors, but the brush stops turning on most carpets

I wanted to wait to write a review to make sure the battery charge stayed - as I read a few reviews stating thiers lost power. I'm very happy with this purchase for the quick pet-hair clean ups. (Hardwood floors and leather couch all get vacuumed in 15 minutes) Perfect for what I wanted it to do.

I bought this to be a quick way to vacuum my hard wood floors. This does not have good suction at all. So bad, I cannot justify keeping it.

Dyson really lives up to their reputation. This cordless vac is super light and plenty powerful. Plenty of attachments available and the twenty minute run time is the perfect self-pacing timer for those who don't know when to stop and take a break. Overall, a solid purchase.

We live in a small one bedroom apartment and really do not have room for a regular sized vacuum. Doubted the suctioning on this one but really needed a good small sized vacuum so I went for it anyway. Pleasantly surprised that it works well. This product makes it so easy to go from room to room and quickly clean without having to plug and unplug. It is much lighter than a regular sized vacuum so it is much easier to use. I clean more often than I remember because of it.

I got this last Sunday and since then I am amazed how well this works. I have two pets, tabby cat and small Auzze Shepard dog in the house. I have surprisingly pulled out three-five containers of pet hair and debris after I had vacuumed with other products, and had my carpet steam cleaned two weeks ago. I would recommend this to anyone. The cordless feature makes it easy to use, and can do the first floor in 10 minutes or less.

It Sucks...It Really does...Literally..No Suction At All...

I bought this recently on a Best Buy sale. I've been thinking about what I could buy to conveniently deal with our dog and her constantly shedding fur. I think this handy vacuum has solved our problem. We mounted it quite easily on the laundry room wall and can now just pull it off the charging bracket and zip around the house picking up fur balls. I was a little concerned about the charging time of this model compared to a longer charge on the newer models, but have had no issues getting done what I need to do and it has never died on me. Between the attachments this comes with and others I have from my corded Dyson vacuum I am set. We have quite a bit of ceramic tile and this does the trick for a quick clean up. I would not recommend this model for any extensive cleaning of carpet; I just think one needs a corded vac to do the best job with deep carpet. This Dyson vacuum will work great though for cleaning the carpet in our automobiles. Only real negatives I have come across so far would be the regular price of this item (need to buy on sale), and the dirt sometimes must be pulled out of the top of the canister when the fur and dirt gets stuck against the side and top. Thus far we are happy customers and hopefully will find this to be a durable, long lasting stick vac.

Great vacuum that's light and very user friendly plus cleans like a dream! Only downside is the battery only lasts for 15 minutes.

6 years later. Finally bought a new vacuum. Replaced the floor attachment 2x and the battery 1x. Happy with the life it gave us. Now rehoming it for a new life.

Cuts cleaning time in half. Super easy to empty. Gets all the cat hair off the furniture in one swoop! The battery does not last as long as I was thinking it would, but I think that is why it's on sale $250 off which is totally worth it to me. It certainly lasts a good amount of time, just don't plan on doing your whole house in one sitting!

If you live in a small studio apartment this is for you. It charged over 8 hours and after vacuuming one room the battery ran down. I don't see the difference comparing to any other products on the market Battery life is TERRIBLE! Don't waste your money. Returning it ASAP!

I love this vacuum so much!!! I bought this because i recently moved into an apartment and needed a vacuum really bad and I've always wanted to get a dyson vacuum. When I got home, I immediately opened the box and put it together and started using it. The amount of dust picked up was amazing and its easy to take apart and clean. The motor isn't that noisy unless you use it on max power and it is a little heavy but not much. All in all it was well worth the money I spent on it!!

I bought this machine back in 2017 and now presently in 2022, the battery has met it's end. It cost about $100 to get a replacement rechargeable battery unit but the seem to be consistently out of stock on the Dyson website. I was also under the impression that my purchase was under a 5 year warranty, but I came to find out that it was under a 2 year warrenty?

It is very convenient to handle and also works very good. It has enough power for the duty.

I am happy that I bought this cordless vacuum. It is overpriced, but performs better than my inexpensive Swifter vac because it has a larger rubbish container, longer battery life and rotating head. I also like the attachment brushes for cleaning the car. I really dislike that I have to hold the on switch continuously for operation. I have used Dyson vacuums for many years, but they are better on carpet than hard floors. I think this small cordless does a great job on my hard floors.

Love love love this little device. It's so compact and light very easy to use.
