I love Shark and will only buy that brand. This particular model follows the Dyson. When vacuuming you move the handle one way and the head goes a different direction. This one is kind of hard to manage physically. It has suction power and the base does remove to help get those hard to reach places. Just going to need to get used to the mobility of it. Other then that, I love it!

This vacuum has fantastic suction and is excellent at cleaning floors and amazingly fantastic at cleaning carpets. It is light and very easy to use and to empty. The vacuum usually must be emptied fairly frequently after using , especially with carpets, but not having to use and replace bags is a huge plus. It is lightweight and easy to carry. The only negative I have is that it could be a little easier to navigate. It is a far better vacuum that the one I purchased several years ago that was a top of the line and much more expensive.

I needed a new vacuum in a hurry, and considered Dyson, Hoover and Shark brands. I chose the Shark because it is relatively lightweight, easy to maneuver, and quickly converts to a canister. It has a long cord, which is more than a convenience... it decreases cleaning time, not having to plug and unplug the vacuum so often. Once you learn which buttons remove the dust bin, remove and replace the canister, and remove the hoses for manual cleaning, it is a snap to use. The canister and turbo brush work well on carpeted stairs. The upright has two controls on the handle, which change the amount of suction and turn the power brush on and off. The white lights on the upright are very useful as they show the dust and debris on the floor. This model comes with a separate cleaning head with a microfiber pad, for use on hard floors. I have not tried it yet. Pros: small, lightweight, easy to maneuver. Canister and cleaning tools. Hard floor cleaning head. Long cord. Cons: small dust bin. Canister sometimes hard to snap back in place.

This vacuum is light, easy to use, versatile, and didn't cost a car payment! The 3 in one feature is the main reason I bought it. Upright, lift away or both. I can go from carpet to laminate floors with a push of a button. I can go from hardwood to stairs by just quickly removing an accessory. Speaking of the accessories, they aren't clumsy and hard to get to get to at all. I know I sound excited about a vacuum but this was a definite upgrade from our last one! Best of all, I get ALL of the dog hair! I empty the full can from our 2 story house (no bag) and I see what it picked up. My old one would barely fill a bag in one month and I vacuum at least twice a week. We almost went with a Dyson but glad we didn't because I can get under our furniture including our dining room table without moving anything! The ball of the Dyson would get in the way; plus we couldn't justify paying over $500 for a vacuum. Our Sharp came with a 7 year warranty and was half the price of the other vacuum ($240). Yes, yes, yes for this purchase!

Did my research, reading reviews and opinions, and weighing all that I read. Great suction, light weight, easy to use, everything on the vacuum labeled, no guessing on what goes where and very easy to put together. The first time I used it I vacuumed about 1/3 of my living room and had to empty the lift away pod. Thought my older Kirby was doing an OK job. Guess not. Great on both rugs, tile, and hard wood. I would highly recommend this vacuum. Good price without breaking the budget.

Let me put this way, my BF was adamant about purchasing a Dyson Vacuum because of the name and his prior experience with them, but I knew we made the right choice when he says to me "This is a REALLY nice vacuum, I'm glad we got it" after he used it. When we were looking, none of the Dysons had all of the features I was looking for in a vacuum. I needed an upright with lift away features, a beater bar head, lightweight, headlights, something that could get the whole way under a queen size bed and pick up cat hair without it being a canister. We even had a spirited discussion in the store before I won out and got the shark. Once we got it home, he begrudgingly took it out of the box and put it together, which was super easy. It took longer to get it out of the box that it did to put it together. So far, this thing picked up things my old Bissell wouldn't even think about picking up. It does all of the things that I wanted and picked up all of the cat hair under the bed (she likes to sleep there). We usually had to move the bed to get under it, but that is now a thing of the past. The motor unit lifts right off the upright to get under the bed or couch and the lights show things that would easily have been missed before. It even gave new life to a couple of older rugs that I was sure had to be thrown away from years of use. I was absolutely gobsmacked with how much dirt came out of them. They look like new. As for pricing, we got the unit on sale which was less than half the price of the Dyson we considered. Very happy with the purchase and he isn't complaining so all is good!

I wanted a good vacuum for my new home...which needed to be good for carpet and pet hair. Majority of my home is all carpet and I have 2 dogs...and this vacuum gets the job done. Very easy to use, lightweight and the lift-away part is handy as well. I love that it has a LED light that shines on the floor while vacuuming..that is probably my favorite part.

The vacuum has a quick detach system makes it easy for stairs, fix up a lot of dog hair in able to have various suction, my wife is impressed by the weight of it and it's easy that my two-year-old can use.

We have a similar Shark lightweight vac in our Florida home. Our satisfaction with it was the primary reason we bought this Shark Rotator Vac. My wife has some back problems & this vac is light weight & easy to use. It has very good suction & fits easily under furniture. We still use a full sized vac to more thoroughly clean our carpets.

I have needed a new vacuum cleaner because my old one just wasn’t doing it’s job. I was doing my research and comparing and contrasting with other vacuum cleaners as well as the price between them.. I have found that the shark vacuum cleaners are better in price than Dyson and still do an amazing job . I love how you can go under tables as well as easier to do the steps.. It has a very good suction so with my dogs shedding it picks up the dog hair pretty well.

Had a Dyson for years and struggled with the weight and the fact that it was unusable on our large area rug. The suction was too great for us to use on the carpet setting (it would pull the rug up and break the clutch) and the hard wood setting wasn't sufficient for cleaning the rug as we have a large hairy dog. After years of breaking my back using the upholstery attachment to do the full room sized rug, I tried out the Shark. It is amazing. It's adjustable suction control allows me to use it's carpet setting on the rug without lifting it off the ground. It is so much lighter and easier to manouver than the Dyson and the Lift-Away setting allows me to easily get under furniture. It does have a short cord and the dirt bin is small (I have to empty it in the middle of cleaning my 1000 sq ft house, but like I said: big, hairy dog), but that is minor compared to the benefits. Love it!

I love this vacuum. It is light weight, very powerful. It is easy to empty dust and dirt canister. It is easy to click to separate pieces to sweep under furniture, easy to sweep steps, to cleaning top of valance on blinds. It is a little bit smaller than my old vacuum - but it makes up for that in power. Love it. Would never consider another brand vacuum after this one!

Super lughtweight. Very easy to use & clean, with excellent suction

This vacuum is very versatile in our home which has hardwood floors and carpet. The ease of changing the configuration is great. The suction is awesome and picks up everything. With two dogs and a cat which all shed heavily, this vacuum is a lifesaver!

I bought this vacume after doing a lot of research and I am happy to say I am not disappointed. This is the best vacume I have ever had. Powerful suction, doesn’t get clogged, so light weight, and extremely portable, I love the never loose suction guarantee, and the fact that is a completely closed system and doesn’t let dust back into the air.

Works great! Love the features, carpet to bare floors, lift away. It picks up everything! It empties easy. And no filters to buy! It's not really loud! My other vacuum scared my grandson it was so loud, this one is quieter!

The Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away has great suction, is very versatile, fairly light and affordable. The lift-away option and floor attachment makes it easy to vacuum under beds and furniture. I don't love that the cord is not retractable, but with the different ways this vacuum can function (canister, upright, etc) it doesn't seem feasible and its not a big deal.

I own a Dyson ball that hasn’t been out since I purchased the Shark. Shark is easy to use, lightweight, agile, and yet powerful. I feel very comfortable using it on my hardwood as well as on delicate carpets. I haven’t had it long enough to know the durability of the machine. If it continues to work well in year 3 that would be the final star.

Very lite weight, easy to use and does a great job.

I know it is just a vacuum, but I am amazed at how well it works! We had an old Oreck and it seemed to work fine. After doing the carpets 2 times with the Shark, the dust container was FULL! I couldn't believe it. I pushes very easily and the hardwood attachment works excellent. I definitely recommend.
