For years we used an Oreck..that was screeching loud and made our 2 dogs cover their ears....after one use of the Shark it was obvious the Oreck was going to the dump...not to mention the Shark had much more pick-up power,,,we were amazed at the dirt our old vacuum missed.

Overall, this is a good vacuum. It has decent power and maneuvers well. My only dislike is the floor attachment!

This vacuum is the best engineered and most versatile we ever had. It does what it is advertised to do. Very well constructed. We have pets and it picks up hair and everything else from the carpets. We have had more expensive and less expensive vacuums this is the best so far.

This is a great vacuum! I have allergies and really am bothered by the small particulates that must vacuums send floating... This shark cleans the air the filter is so good. This is such a great vacuum we bought a second one for our mountain house!

great suction, perhaps too much for small area rugs, not so convenient for stairs (heavy).

Found this to be great on stairs - so light! Could use a longer tool tube as mine won't reach ceilings!

Vacuum has good suction I like that it is adjustable and the lift away is a nice feature

This vacuum has done better so far than my Dyson ever did - it is a great machine.

This is the best vacuum I’ve ever used. A Dyson came up for sale for the same price as what we paid for this and I asked my wife if she wanted me to return this to get the dyson and my wife actually said she’d prefer to keep the shark.

We purchased this vacuum since it was lighter than another Shark we had bought. It has great suction, many attachments, and holds enough to vacuum the whole house.

Great vacuum just don’t dig the wand , not very versatile ! Great suction though !

Excellent machine. Cannot believe the amount of dirt it picked up even though we had cleaned carpet day before. Bought a second vacuum next day for daughter ...

I'll be a permanent shark buyer I became a collector they are so good hard to get replacement filters locally but definitely love the machine AMD company works great when something does go wrong I own 3 sharks in my home

Lightweight with very strong suction. It has the ability to do carpeted and hardwood floors.

Could not believe how much dirt it picks up. It puts our Dyson to shame. This by far is the best vacum we have ever used. Time to sell the Dyson.
