Best Home brewed Coffee I've Had!

Wev'e been searching for a new coffee maker and didn't want to buy those with pods as they tend to be very costly in the long run. I read the reviews on the Ninja products specifically the "coffee bars". Decided to purchase this during the Bk friday sale and got in on the great buy! After brewing coffee for a week now wev'e had to adjust the amount to get the right strength. Several options to choose from on the coffee "bar" so not your mother's "ole coffee maker". As I've read in some reviews you get the true taste & flavor of the coffee which is correct! You will need to adjust and test what works best for you when brewing. You'll likely find you may not need as much coffee when brewing with this one. Our family loves the coffee and the included frother is a hit. However one thing I disliked about it was the slide out coffee filter bin seemed not as sturdy as I would have expected.. hence my rating. Overall thought it's a good coffee maker and excellent buy at the sale price.

This coffee maker is well worth the money. It is extremely versatile. It offers many different sizes of cups to brew. It also has different brew strengths. The removable water reservoir is nice for filling up the coffee maker with water. I also use the included recipe guide to make delicious gourmet coffee. Get this product, you won't regret it.

Meet the new Ninja Coffee Bar I could smell the coffee, tastes great and NO drips of water or coffee. Plus the coffee is HOT. Did I say fast! Yep, cranked out the brew in record time. Added advantage I can brew a cup, a togo cup, half a pot or full pot. Can even do ice coffee if you are into that.....

I've been thru keurigs, tassimo, and a bunch of drip coffee makers. This one performs amazing. I purchased this based on my experience with ninja products. And I don't regret it. The coffee maker can make a strong brew of coffee that actually tastes great. I've also made the best cup of caramel macchiato I've ever had with it. If your on the fence or thinking about buying a new maker you owe yourself to try this. You won't regret it. Plus it's super simple to to program. In my opinion there's nothing on the market that comes close to this coffee bar maker.

My fiance and I purchased this coffee maker with the intentions of replacing an old drip coffee maker model that just stopped working one day. We were considering a Bunn coffee maker at first, simply because we wanted our coffee fast. We walked in the Best Buy and could not find a Bunn on the shelf, and the Ninja Coffee Bar just happened to be on sale. So we figured why not let's give it a try. The first pot of coffee we brewed was so incredibly strong that neither of us could tolerate it and we ended up dumping it down the drain. We actually had to experiment for a couple days, making several pots of coffee that we did not like. It turned out that in order to make the same type of coffee we were having with the old drip coffee maker, we had to use almost half the coffee grounds. Doing this allowed us to eliminate the bitterness, and we absolutely love the coffee it makes now! My suggestion is to not use the permanent filter, go ahead and buy some paper cone filters instead. To each his own, & I know everyone will have their own individual tastes, but I found the paper filters helped eliminate a lot of the bitterness that we were finding. Also the machine is very easy to clean. The basket comes out rather easy, and cleans up well. The water container I find pretty handy, it's pretty nice not having to fill the carafe with water and transporting it to the coffee maker. Also the electricity we save by not having the burner element running nonstop while the coffee maker is on is pretty nice as well. I find that as long as I leave a half a pot of coffee in the carafe when I go to work in the morning, it is still pretty warm when I get home almost 10 hours later. So there is no detriment to not having a burner on the machine. 2 hours after I brew, the coffee will still burn my tongue. Overall it's a good buy, although you may have to experiment a little if you're used to a drip coffee maker. The flexibility of making espresso type drinks and multiple cup size options make this a great buy to replace an old drip style coffee maker.

We have went back and forth with a Keurig two times now. Both times they have broken quickly and honestly the coffee tastes horrible. After watching the informercials and reading loads of reviews we decided to give the Ninja Coffee Bar a shot. Using fresh ground Starbucks House blend, (espresso ground) I just made a coffee shop worthy cappuccino! It's strong but smooth, and the frother works perfectly. It came with a travel mug, coffee scoop, frother and a great recipe book for making at home coffee shop style drinks. It takes a bit longer to brew, around 4 minutes start to finish for a single cup, but the rich smooth flavor is worth the wait. This makes such good coffee!! We've had good luck with our other Ninja items and I hope this lasts us for years. It looks terrific on our coffee bar, takes up less space than the Keurig and kcup drawer, is loads better for the environment without all those plastic cups, and will be more economical down the road. I highly recommend the Ninja Coffee Bar for all coffee lovers!

This is a great machine at a reasonable price for what it does. You can make your coffee based upon the selection of classic, rich or specialty for espresso. You can make anything that can be found at Starbucks at 1/3 of the price! I also like the fact that it comes with a recipe book where you can make all kinds of delicious combinations. The coffee maker itself comes with a nice basket and the water is much easier to fill then most and no cups to buy or worry about! Any brand of coffee ground will work and you can even make ice coffee if you would like. I would never go back to a Keurig or a perculator after this! BTW my parents have one, and my brother and his family too. I haven't heard a single complaint from anyone about it!!!

We have been using the Ninja coffee Bar for about a month. It replaced a Keurig and another one cup machine that we went back and forth between. The coffee made by the Ninja tastes better than our other two machines. It is easy to use and we love that we can make a travel mug to go during the work week but on the weekends can make a whole carafe. The different brews are also a nice plus for some variety. We have the thermal carafe which keeps the coffee sufficiently warm for the few hours it takes us to drink it. We just bought another Ninja Coffe Bar for my dad for Christmas.

In love with my ninja coffee bar. It is everything I was looking for. The thermal carafe keeps my coffee warm. The recipe book has great recipes as well. I was very impressed. My only complaint is the filter. I quickly solved the problem with disposible filters.

So far I have used this for about a week and I love the fact that the thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for over an hour. You can select multiple sizes and different brew strengths as well and comes with a recipe book of which I have tried a few and are excellent. The only downside is the size of the thermal carafe as it only holds 10 cups of coffee.

I love that I can set it up the night before and put a time when to make the coffee in the morning. I love that it had the switch to turn the drip off and on. I love the recipe book it comes with and the tumbler. As well as, the foam maker for lattes. Best investment I have made for a coffee machine in many years! Better than keurig.

Since owning the Coffee Ninja, I don't use my espresso machine anymore. The cappuccinos and lattes I can make with the Coffee Ninja are excellent. From iced coffee to brewed coffee to specialty drinks, this machine does it all. It's east to use, easy to clean, and makes good coffee. Can't ask for much more than that.

Takes a while to figure out how to use timer but is worth it. The carafe keeps the coffee warm and the coffee is good. We use less coffee than suggested and put paper filters, folded as suggested, in filter. Great sale price when deal of the day.

This coffee maker is easy to clean, simple to use and does what it's supposed to quite nicely. This brewer made me realize how much I've grown to accept a marginal cup of coffee from my old coffee maker. With the Ninja Coffee Bar the flavor of the coffee comes through loud and clear. The coffee comes out at the temperature it should and stays that way for quite a while if you preheated the carafe. I've only brewed regular coffee in it so far but that turns out so good it's hard for me to experiment with the other coffee types it can make. It could be me but this unit makes overpowering coffee if I stray too far from the minimum amount of coffee recommended. It could be my choice of coffee too I guess but trying different coffee's and grinds is a time consuming process at best. Maybe one day I'll hit on the perfect blend for it but for now just settled for pre-bagged coffee. I'm open to suggestions for the perfect coffee match for this machine.

After reading lots of reviews, I decided to invest in this coffee bar. I've used it for over a month now, and LOVE it. It's really easy to use. One reason for not having 5 stars is the cleaning light came on after a couple uses. I cleaned with basic cleaning instructions in the book, and it is still on. I have not attempted the more advanced cleaning, as it requires a couple hours, but will attempt at some point. I use bottled water to fill the reservoir, so not sure this is a calcium buildup as the Instructions state. I did read this in others reviews so kind of anticipated it, but was hoping it was a fluke. It doesn't affect anything but is somewhat annoying seeing the little light. The coffee brews really hot and really fast, compared to my prior Cuisinart brand. Definitely lots of options for changing how you make your coffee with just simple switch up of the start buttons.
