    Nice lightweight Apple keyboard replacement

I got this to replace my iMac's short bluetooth wireless keyboard. I was looking for a keyboard that had the extended number pad, and while I wanted one that was corded, this keyboard looked pretty good. I got it when it was on sale and it has worked pretty well for me the last month. The build isn't as nice as the metal keyboards that apple is selling with their computers now, but its still not bad. The upside to the plastic is that it is a very light weight keyboard. There are also legs on the back if you don't like your keyboard flat and it props the back up about an inch. The keys don't feel as nice as Apple's flat-key keyboards, but that's made up by no longer needing batteries (with the solar charging) and he number pad. I also have a Logitech wireless mouse so I've set them up to work off the same USB port. While I haven't encountered it becoming a problem, a lot of the time the energy light will display red (for low power) when on the keyboard. I'm not working in the best lit area of my building, so I don't get a lot of natural light. I switch the keyboard off when I'm not using it, and it hasn't failed me yet when I'm typing or using it. All in all this is a pretty good keyboard for light to moderate use. If you're looking for a gaming keyboard, I'd probably look elsewhere.

    TOP IMAC ACCESSORY

This keyboard is perfect addition for IMAC owners who prefers a full size keyboard with a accounting number key pad and more importantly, delete and backspace keys typically found and function the same as legacy keyboards (vs IMAC standard/smaller version). The color and wireless are a perfect, modern match for IMAC. Solar holds charge, zero problems for 3-yrs, neighbor bought same keyboard 4 yrs ago, again flawless.

Best Third-Party Keyboard for a Mac

I purchased the K750 keyboard for the mac after reading reviews about the product. I also own a K750 keyboard for my office, which I absolutely love. The keys, the placement in between each key, and the design are just done so well. Plus, since it's Solar, no need to replace the battery. The keyboard is great for productivity for the average Mac user. I definitely would recommend!

I kind of love this keyboard. Never needs batteries and uses the natural light in the office to keep it powered. It feels like a modern laptop keyboard and works better than the Microsoft usb keyboard I had been using. Since I also owned a Logitech Mouse I was able to only have to use one dongle. My only complaint is that there is no CAPS Lock light on the keyboard

This is a great keyboard that includes the full number pad. The wireless keyboard is a must for me, especially with a cat that likes to play and chew wires. No wires = no problems! And the solar capability means never having to buy batteries and they keyboard is always fully functional. I have never had this keyboard in direct sunlight and it still works perfectly! A great product!

Nice alternative to the Apple keyboards

Had been using a wired Apple Keyboard with my Mac Mini and previously an older MacBook Pro. A couple keys failed so it was time for a new keyboard. I like having the numeric keypad so the choices (and I wanted to retain the Apple layout) were another wired Apple keyboard, the Logitech K750, or a couple other 3rd party accessory brands. Didn't necessarily need the wireless feature, but after reading the reviews I went with the K750. Not having having to deal with replacing or recharging batteries is a big plus and the light on my desk is more than adequate at keeping the K750 fully charged. Having one lass wire run across my desk is nice and the slightly deeper profile to accommodate the solar cells is not a problem. The setup is literally just plugging in the unifying receiver into an available USB port and begin typing. I didn't try downloading the light/battery monitoring app because I read somewhere that it may cause system slowdowns. I do prefer typing on the K750 compared to the Apple keyboard because of the slightly concave keys along with their travel and action. Sure a Caps Lock light would have been nice but would probably impact battery life. Some have mentioned that the folding legs to adjust the angle are little flimsy, but it looks like replacements can be inexpensively ordered from Logitech in the unlikely event they are broken. My only real concern with the K750 is that the labeling of the keys isn't molded in and over time may wear off. Guess it might depend on how hard you pound on the keys. Previously it looks like the K750 was packaged with a cleaning cloth and a USB extender that physically moved the unifying receiver away from your USB port for better range. Apparently this is no longer the case, but I've got plenty of microfiber cleaning cloths laying around to wipe off the numerous fingerprints that collect on the glossy finish of the K750 and my keyboard never travels far enough from my computer for wireless range to be an issue. A nicely designed and built keyboard.

Overall great keyboard. Responsive keys and I love the solar charging/power feature. No more batteries and having to charge. One little minor annoyance is the required use of a small and unobtrusive dongle. Wish it was bluetooth pairing. Other than that a minor blemish on an overall great keyboard.

I bought this keyboard to use with my computer entertainment center. My command post is my couch ! LOL ! While the keyboard is slim and compact it also has some heft to it - It feels like a real tool - not like a hollow piece of plastic.. It's easy to read and easy to use and I don't have to worry about batteries going dead !!!

This keyboard is great! I wanted a wireless keyboard that would look appropriate with my Apple devices. Unfortunately, Apple hasn't quite stepped up to the plate on keyboards. The problem is the number pad. Apple makes a great wireless keyboard, but it doesn't have a number pad. If you want the number pad, you have to buy a wired keyboard from Apple. So, this Logitech keyboard steps in to fill the gap. It looks great with it's white and silver color scheme, and it actually goes one step further by including solar charging. I've had one of these keyboards at home for over 4 years and have never had to change a battery!! That's incredible! I now have one for my work computer (a 13" MacBook Pro hooked to a dual 24" screen setup). Since I do most of the technology purchasing and setup for my work, I've also purchased these keyboards for most of the other members of our team. They all love them as well. I have experience now with 6 of these exact keyboards and have never had a single failure! I'd highly recommend this keyboard for your Apple computer.

I was just looking for the cheapest keyboard BestBuy had in stock, that was compatible with my trusty old 2012 MacBook Pro. I wasn't looking for wireless (I already have to keep recharging AA batteries for my magic mouse) and certainly wasn't looking for *solar* -- since I normally work indoors... But this thing is fantastic! No batteries to charge, no wires tangling up my desktop, and it has worked flawlessly for a week or so now. It has only died once, when I was working in the dead of night with the lights low, for several hours. And I was able to "recharge" it in moments using my iPhone flashlight! :insert-happy-emoji here: It really appeals to my sense of efficiency that instead of eating batteries it essentially recycles the electricity you are already paying for to light the room! The only drawbacks? It takes up one of only two USB ports on the laptop and, unlike the wired apple keyboard it replaced, does not give me 2 more USB ports on the keyboard (of course). So I am down from 3 available USB devices to one. But I'm looking for a usb hub that will fix that, and that will also reduce the number of wires I have to disconnect and reconnect when taking it on the road. Also it's slightly annoying that there is no caps-lock light. I get it -- that would probably eat too many electrons, but was surprised how many times I glance at it to see if its on, and it never is lol. Anybody know where I can find a mac app that gives you a Caps-lock indicator on-screen, maybe in the Mac task tray??

Excellent full size keyboard for Apple iMac

Although I am a bit of an Apple purist, I recently got a little over zealous with sterilizing my 'Magic' Keyboard and it crapped out on me. In my hunt for a replacement, I came across this Logitech solar powered wireless, and while not Apple, it get's the job done very nicely, maybe even better than Apple's full size magic keyboard. This model is designed to pair with the iMac, complete with Control, Option, Command and Mission Control keys etc. The typing feel is quiet and smooth. The 'solar' power function works really well too. There is an app that you can download that tells you the charge rate and how much power is stored in the battery. I've had mine for over a month now and am still at 100 percent power. The keyboard will trickle charge with ambient lighting keeping it topped off. Unlike earlier iterations of Logitech keyboards, this one feels substantial and even matches the Apple silver of my iMac. While I was a little reluctant to buy it at first because it wasn't Apple, once I got it home and began using it, I could not be happier with my choice.

This is my 2nd solar Logitech keyboard. It is everything I want: wireless; always charged (no battery, ambient light charges it); and it has a number pad. SO much better than the apple keyboards and you can delete characters both forward and backwards. I couldn't find this elsewhere and so very glad to be able to get this again.

I've had this keyboard for over a month now and works great! The feel of the keys is just right for me... just enough feedback without being too loud. I often use the numeric keypad and that works great too! Worked right out of the box at night without any prior charging in sun or a bright light. It is set up by a westward facing window, but I have the blinds closed during the day, and even though I use this mostly at night with low light (that gives me a sad face on the charging indicator)... It has never run out of charge! I haven't had any of the "major" problems that other reviewers complain about. Hopefully that will last. It would be nice to have an indicator showing that the Caps Lock is on, and maybe backlit keys... But, not having a light on the Caps Lock is not a big deal. Also, I can type and know 10-key by touch. So, not having backlit keys is not a deal breaker either. Plus, having this in-stock at my local Best Buy, on sale for only $39.99... Makes this definitely a Great Keyboard for Mac!!!

This is one of the best keyboards I have used over my 30 years of computer experience. First, the keys do not require that much pressure. Making it very easy to type for long periods. Second, with the solar charge capability (includes sunlight and any light indoors!) I never have to think of replacing the batteries. This is a big plus for a wireless device! Third, It also has a number keypad unlike the wireless keyboard from Apple. Even though Apple has a keyboard with the number keypad that keyboard is a wired version. Fourth, it feels like there is zero latency...meaning very responsive. Five, the keyboard does come with the unify nano receiver but it also comes with a slight extender (the size of a usb jump drive) which enables to extend the range of the receiver enough to work perfect even if the usb is connected on one of the usb slots on the back of a huge 27" iMac. To me the only downside would be the F4 key having the dashboard icon imprinted (which I never use). Although the key can be mapped to launchpad from the [System Preferences]. It would be nice if this gets a new updated imprint too (like the Macbooks).

I was bummed one day when my previous Logitech keyboard kicked the bucket (it too was the solar wireless keyboard). Not sure what happened or why it stopped working - it had only been a couple years since purchasing...either way, I'm happy to continue buying this keyboard. It's wireless, slim, has a nice touch, full layout with number pad and doesn't need batteries. It is a part of the Logitech Unified devices group so I can easily pair it with any other machine using the specific dongle.

These are awesome keyboards. I like the fact that they don;t need AA or AAA batteries. They have a really good feel and good feedback. Super easy on the wrists and fingers. As someone who types a couple 1000 characters a day I would definitely recommend this keyboard.
