Terrible purchase. Waffle batter is too thick to fill the machine, and it’s hard to fill the normal way. Would not recommend at all.

Came broken we contacted immediately they were supposed to drop a sticker to return never did and the date passed. college student during quarantine.

This product is very poor. Customer service is very poor and rude employees working for this company.

This product was not very good and broke only after a few months having it. It didn’t work well. Waffles were soft and gooey.

it leaks on the side..dont have time to return it. it is better to buy a horizontal product

I have never had a waffle maker before and never have I made waffles myself. I do however love waffles and today I felt let making some, I researched a bit to see what what was out there with a fair price and came along this waffle maker. I read through the negative reviews first to see all the bad things and then went through the positive ones, it seems that everyone with a negative review didn't quite follow instructions. I went ahead and purchased the waffle maker, once I got home bi unboxed it and went through the instructions that are basic to follow, there is a measure cup that comes along with the waffle maker, this gives you a 100% accurate amount of how much batter to pour through the top side for the waffles. At first I sat the waffle to level 3 as this give you a more golden toasted waffle but I like mine with a bit more crunch and the 2nd waffle was set to level 4. All I can say is wow, this waffle maker when used as it is supposed to is a charm. It is also easy to clean, I advise anyone who is interested to try it out but read the instructions. Bought this waffle maker yesterday and what sold me on it is that this particular brand/model was sold in 5 well-known upscale stores which, by itself, is impressive. I was fortunate as time was of the essence and Best Buy was the only store that had it in stock, ready to purchase off the shelf. Fortunately or luckily, this waffle maker had more going for it than I could have imagined for both the appliance and the recipes included. Even though I had already picked two waffle recipes online to work with, I ended up using the Cuisinart Belgian Waffle recipe which was inside the instruction manual. Best decision ever. They turned out light, hearty and satisfying - absolutely delicious (I did omit the cornmeal ingredient which was my own preference). The waffle maker itself made it so easy with beeps to signal when the waffle was finished to take out. They came out PERFECT; the non-stick surface is truly amazing and worked like you would hope for and expect. I had the timer setting at "3" for a lighter golden brown - they were heavenly and gobbled up by my family. Easy clean-up too which was wonderful (hallelujah!). Overall, very pleased, very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.

I read numerous reviews on various wafflemakers, not only on Best Buy's website, but on other websites as well. I finally decided on the Cuisinart Vertical Wafflemaker and couldn't be more pleased with my decision. I have a "regular" belgian wafflemaker; however, I've never cared for the way waffles turned out. This Cuisinart beeps to let you know when it's properly heated and ready to cook, and beeps again when the waffle is done. The handy little measuring cup can hang on the inside of your batter bowl so you can use a small ladle to fill it with batter (rather than scooping the batter with the measuring cup and having it drip all over the place). Personally, we like the Krus**az brand buttermilk light and fluffy pancake mix which also has a recipe to make waffles (you just add some water, vegetable oil and an egg to the mix). The consistency is PERFECT to pour into the top of the Cuisinart unit. Yes, you have to be careful and ensure you pour the batter s-l- o-w-l-y into the opening; however, it's genius---no more waffle batter oozing out the sides like with my other wafflemaker. Setting #3 makes a perfectly browned waffle and the small amount of vegetable oil in the batter totally eliminates the need to oil the grids. So while you can likely find a less expensive wafflemaker, I doubt it will make a perfect waffle like this one does. I'd highly recommend you give this one a try---I don't think you'll be sorry!

I bought this because my kids love waffles and I can't make them fast enough. I thought this would let them make them themselves without needing an adult to hover waiting for the waffle iron to close on dd hand. It works as expected...great! Kids love it because we get waffles more often. I love it because it is fun. There have been a few overfilling mishaps, but that was from dad not trusting the pre measured cup that comes with it. He'll do better next time.

This was a Christmas gift and the worst I have ever received! I tried this thing twice and it did not work like it was supposed to. Followed the directions to a T. I poured in the batter and nothing went down into the waffle part. It all just stayed at the top!! I tried again and made my batter even more watery and it still did not drip down into the waffle part!! I opened it up and all the batter just fell everywhere and made a complete and total mess!! What a waste!!!!

I love it! Perfect waffles every time, once I started filling the cup full that came with it to pour batter.

Stopped heating up after 10 use. The design looks interesting but not that practical. Make sure your batter liquid enough to flow well all the way down.
