Logitech - G900 Chaos Spectrum Optical Gaming Mouse Pros: Feels good Different Hardware Configurations Great Software Hard Line or Wireless Cons: Price for some Scrolling is not to smooth Learning curve with DPI I really love this mouse! It does take time to get use to using it. Logitech is a good brand. This is the best mouse by far I have owned. If you a gamer it is really good with a learning curve. It is fast! It also has great software that sets it up for cloth and hard mouse surfaces, which I never seen before. I really love the option of line or wireless which really makes a great for multitasking. I line hard line for gaming and wireless for apps, just my preference. The mouse is super smooth and light for me. Price wise you get what you pay for. I never spent 129 plus and protection plan for a mouse but it was worth it. Best Buy is by far the best protection plans out there. I see using it for next 4-5 years.

Even after reading countless reviews, this mouse beat all expectations. It has seemingly endless customization options, and the battery life is great. I'm averaging ~3 days with about 5-6 hours use per day. Some people might argue that it seems too light for its size, but it seems to fit in my (slightly large) hands flawlessly. It's a bit expensive, but I think it's well worth the price.

For the price you pay, you definitely get the bang for your buck. The mouse overall is sleek in texture almost like a matte type of finish which adds to the luxury look of the thing. The changing led's definitely add a new sense of gaming when in dark environments that'll definitely turn heads. Performance wise this thing has gotten me through the toughest games where you completely outshine your opponents. Using this mouse alone has increased my reaction timing ten fold I'm able to sense the enemy before the enemy can even load in the game. 10/10 - ign

+ Perfectly weighted & shaped for me. + Excellent primary and secondary buttons (the side buttons are good too). + I am surprised how much I like and use wired AND wireless options (thankfully, with the tiny USB dongle). I tend to switch a lot from casual browsing, to heavy work related interactions, to intense gaming sessions...and I do this either at a desk or on the go in a variety of locations. + The sensor (and adjustable sensitivity settings) are amazing! I really like how I can set what I want, and then it will save it to the memory on the mouse. This way, I can use my mouse on any PC without having to install the software on all the computers I use (which can be a lot when I am travelling). + I already own the Logitech G502 Proteus mouse (which is a great mouse as it is), but I was amazed when I realized how much better the G900 was (once you get your settings dialed in)! + I can’t live without the hyper-fast scrolling (great for large documents/spreadsheets/etc). This is why I tend to stay away from other companies (except for gaming)...but now this is the true do-it-all mouse! + I like the rechargeable battery because it’s less to hassle with when travelling, but I do have to charge it a lot more than I was expecting. Luckily, if you forget the included cable, it will still work with any micro USB cable. - The only real negative item is the price. I would certainly never pay for a mouse over $100 and thankfully I still would not pay more than that for this one. Thanks to Best Buy’s Black Friday deals, I did not have to!

Time: Using for 2 weeks solid. I telecommute and game, so I'm at the computer using a mouse as much as 12 - 14 hours a day with a minimum of 8. I own a conga line of Logitech mice due to their superior ergonomics for my hand (and one Cyborg RAT which has killer adjustable ergonomics and a flaky, bargain-bin sensor). The G900 is nice and long for large hands like mine and would work great for people with long fingers too (my hands are like pie plates). Weight -- or lack thereof -- is excellent over other cordless mice. Battery life is 2-3 days for me -- bling lights turned off -- and the included cord is FINALLY supple so charge-while-using is issue-free. Click feel and button placement are also perfect with only light pressure needed which lowers fatigue. The extra buttons are useful and well placed. Compared to other mice: G700s: G900 has a WAY better battery, much lower weight, and works for lefties. G700s is slightly better for large hands, but that's a small tick up on an otherwise inferior mouse. The G700s charging cable may as well be copper pipe for its lack of flexibility. G500s: Obviously corded. G900 has better click feel and a surprisingly better cord for corded use. G500s has the slight edge the G700s has in large-hand ergonomics. The ONE Con: Price. I got mine on Black Friday for 1/2 price. I'd probably eventually have got one and been happy nearer to full price, but holy cr*p, Logitech, $150 is a bit tough for the vast majority to dump on just the mouse.

I came from an m65 pro from corsair and all I have to say is that the lightweight makes a huge difference and the ability to go wireless without the tug-and-pull is amazing! Battery needs charging every 13hrs of use. But like me I hardly remember and it’s always charged because of a sensor it has to save batter when not in use which makes it a whole lot better! Plugged in or not it’s a very good feel to the precision. Cons; I wish the cable was longer but I understand the fact that it’s supposed to be wireless feels like 4-3ft long. Other than that it’s great for me!

Whether you are a serious, non-FPS hardcore gamer or just want a fantastic comfortable mouse for your office, this mouse ticks all the boxes. Incredible ambidextrous shape, great feeling clicks and buttons, very responsive sensor. The battery lasts a good 3 days if you keep the light on, little more if you disable. An end game mouse for most people.

Prior to using this mouse I would only use wired mouse for gaming, as I was concerned about latency and losing battery power at an inopportune time. Additionally, I would never use an ambidextrous mouse as I preferred ergonomic right-hand oriented mice. My previous ambidextrous experience with mice like the SteelSeries Sensei resulted in hand cramping and an overall unpleasant experience. I wasn't expecting that much out of this mouse, but there is no mouse I've used (SteelSeries Ikari, SteelSeries Sensei, Corsair M65, Razer Deathadder, Razer Mamba TE, Logitech G402, Logitech G502) that can compare to this mouse. It's responsive and accurate, and performs just as well as any wired mouse. Comfort-wise, despite using an ambidextrous mouse, my hand has never felt better (fingertip grip). This mouse is expensive but definitely worth the price.

Coming from the popular g502 I notice no latency while in wireless mode and battery life has been great so far. The buttons and everything are very responsive with a sastisfying click. Unless you really need a major upgrade immediately it's a worthy pickup while on sale because $150 is a lot to ask for a mouse but it can be found on sale a lot with the slightly upgraded version g903 out now.

I haven't had a PC since the early 2000's as i've grown accustomed to using my mobile device for everything. Recently bought a new gaming rig and after a lot of research i decided to try the g900 based on it's wireless capabilities. was initially VERY skeptical but apparently wireless tech as come along since 2003 because this mouse performs almost flawlessly. i'm not going to go into all the features as people reading this are probably familiar with said features so i'll just list what i like and the one thing i think could be better. 1. smooth tracking 2. tracking speeds on face of mouse. 3. unlockable scroll wheel. 4. light weight but durable. the one thing that is less than perfect is the scroll wheel in free spin mode. it doesn't scroll as fast as i'd like and the scrolling speed doesn't seem to be impacted by the speed you spin the scroll wheel. sometimes it seems like it scrolls slower than it should....very well could be a defect in my mouse but it's not a large enough deal for me to get it checked out as the scroll wheel still works as intended. initially i was disappointed in the lack of a dedicated sniper button where my thumb rests but after using the mouse for about 3 days now i think i actually prefer to have a macro button i need to meet instead of having my thumb always resting on it. makes work-flow related tasks more comfortable/stable,.

Coming from a G700s this is an improvement in most ways. It's designed to be lightweight and the internal battery gets good life - 3 to 4 days for me, a heavy user and gamer. One of the best sensors on the market and a wide range of options within the software for DPI, polling rate, lighting, bindings, macros, etc. Feels very smooth especially when matched with Logitech's mouse pads. Symmetric mouse with removable magnetic buttons on both sides. Free/notched mousewheel options. Both wired and wireless mode with a braided cable included plus an adapter for an even better wireless connection. Wireless performance is unmatched and is even superior to wired mice in many circumstances. Only drawback is price - wait for a sale. Also, the new G903 model with wireless charging is or will soon be available, albeit requiring a relatively expensive accessory, so choose wisely.

    Nice Gaming Mouse

In 2018 when I went looking for a gaming keyboard and mouse combo, I discovered this along with the Logitech Orion Spectrum G910 (which might as well be the companion keyboard to this mouse in my opinion.) One thing that really stands out is the fact that it is both wired and wireless. You can connect the bluetooth dongle it comes with, but leave it connected to your PC to charge the internal battery and have a wired connection. If you disconnect from the cable, the handoff between wired and wireless is VERY quick. You'll only notice a very little jump as it switches over. It is almost unnoticeable in most cases. Another nice feature is the two side buttons on the left and right side. It comes with buttons for both sides, as well as panels to put on if you desire these buttons not to be accessed. You can also increase or decrease the DPI settings with a touch of the buttons on the top. The indicator light on top tells you which level of DPI you are at. It is customizable in the software which DPI levels you'd like at each of the four settings. The max DPI is 12,000. I've set it that high once and my cursor was zipping around the screen with but a mere inching of my hand. I have not found a use for that kind of precision, but I'm sure someone has. You can set profiles for different games and functionality as well as customize the RGB lighting on the mouse. I would also say that this mouse can be ambidextrous, should you have both left and right handed people in your home. This mouse does not have additional weights that you can add to it like some gaming mice do, but it has a nice weight to it that is comfortable to use, but won't break your foot if it falls off your desk. It also comes with a nice box and hard plastic accessory case for the USB dongle and the side buttons & cover plates. The software is easy to install, although I'm still using the older Logitech Gaming Software that came with the keyboard for it, the mouse and my webcam (all Logitech products.) I've had this mouse for about 3 years now and I have no complaints.

Fantastic mouse, both for gaming and all around use. Uses the best-in-class PMW3366 optical sensor. It's much lighter and glides much easier then my old mouse which is fantastic for gaming. Love the fact you can charge while using it, my last wireless mouse used a charging cradle so you could not charge while using it. Excellent wireless performance, very critical for gaming. Better battery life compared to my old Logitech wireless mouse. Logitech has another winner on their hands. It is pricey but I picked it up when there was a one day half-price sale on Amazon and Best Buy matched it. Sweet.

I love this mouse. The ergonomics and weight are perfect for me so it is my goto mouse for Overwatch right now. I forget I'm using a wireless mouse because there is NO discernible latency. I don't even think about it. The battery is going to be good for a while too, hasn't died on me yet after a week of long gaming sessions. On the other hand, this mouse has some very clear negatives too. First, it is just way overpriced. There is no special reason for it to be this expensive. Read the professional reviews, they never point out why it is so special-- it's because it really isn't. I love the weight and shape so I use it, but those aren't things that should make this mouse expensive. Also, it has a serious lack of buttons. As I'm right handed and I think using the left handed buttons would be rediculous, I never put those on. That basically leaves me with 4 buttons and puts this in a conservative FPS only class, which is all I plan to use it for. Also, the side buttons really should be a lot better for the price... the ability to add and remove them causes the clicking of them to be less than stellar.

Overall the mouse is great but it isn’t really worth the price. I got this mouse during their Black Friday pre-sale which costed me 70 bucks. At that price, I was reluctant to purchase this mouse. A few things I like about this is the ability to be wireless. I have a bit of ocd which contributes the way I don’t like wires all over my table. The RGB lighting on this mouse is also a nice compliment. I, myself don’t really care for it but having it there just makes my desk not look as boring. The Logitech Gaming Software or Logitech G Hub should be used in order to have the best experience with it. I prefer the Logitech G Hub since the user interface of it is a lot better and understandable. The mouse comes with a little case with the wireless dongle and buttons for the right side of the mouse. Putting them on is really easy as they are magnetic and can easily snap on. Overall, the mouse is really great and I would recommend it to anyone who is out there looking for a great gaming mouse. I would recommend waiting for at least until the price is on sale for around a hundred bucks but besides the price, this mouse is awesome.

I bought the G900 to replace my tournament mamba, much better IMO. Though the mouse is wireless you cant tell a delay at all, super responsive; even give you the ability to plug it in and play wired. I've played hours of Competitive Overwatch and this mouse kept up without a hiccup. Solid design, love the scroll wheel, one of the best sensors on the market, DPI adjustable in increments of 50. Cons, the mouse was shiny within 4 months, the ambidextrous design made my hand placement uncomfortable after an hour or so, was on the heavy side: which would be fine if the mouse wasn't so slick and most of the weight is in the back. So it would kind of fall out of your hand when picked it up. All around, it was a good mouse but do you want GOOD for $150? you would be much happier with a g403 or g502 or even a g203.. if you want wireless i suggest the g403 same sensor but better ergo

This mouse is a major go. If you're a fan of Logitech gaming peripherals, this is a must cop for your steezy gaming set up. You can change the color of the RGB lights to match whatever theme you got going on your desk/room. The tracking on this is excellent, and the mouse is very responsive. I'm a casual PC gamer and didn't notice and input lag. However, competitive gamers might say otherwise. It is definitely one of the fastest wireless mouse out if not the fastest overall. Better and faster tracking than my mx master, but if course battery life suffers due to the increased polling rate and utilization of a smaller battery to minimize the weight of the mouse.

The G900 is a better mouse than the last iteration of wireless mouse that I purchased from logitech. The overall construction is good, the ability of the mouse to be used either right hand or left is useful for someone who sometimes switches hands or for those who are left handed. The mouse is able to store profles, has DPI switching and is programmable. The battery life is as good as published and then some, and this is my primary mouse for my laptop.
