I have owned and used different roomba vacuums for the last 5 years. This mode is by far the best one. The new rubber rollers are a vast improvement over the bristle brush from past models. No more tangles and its a lot easier to maintain. As with all roombas I have owned it does a great job keeping both my hardwood and carpet floors clean. With two dogs and two cats that is a big task!

Ok so I will admit I was hesitant to jump on the robot vacuum bandwagon but now we will never get off of it. This thing is perfection and cleans better than we could with a manual vacuum. One of the best parts is that you can start it up from the app while you are away and come home to a clean floor. It takes a little time to learn what might trip it up or cause it to get stuck but once you have had it awhile it’s just amazing. We have a 3000 sq ft two story and relocate the base to do both floors and it just works wonders.

Great for the rabbit and getting under furniture, also great that it lets me know via the app the outcome of the cleaning, so I know of there have been any issues. The only problem we have is it can get a bit jammed if we leave small bunny toys on the floor

A hard worker and quiet too! We have had two other robotic vacuums, one an early model of Roomba and one other brand. This 960 Roomba Vac is better than either of those by far and actually better than many upright or canister vacs we have had over the years. We have all hardwoods and tile floors now with several area rugs thoughout and our 960 handles it all with ease. Now add two dogs, a husbands work boots and a teenage boy and again no issues!!! Love the programming ability and controls from anywhere phone app.

Bought this for my wife. It does the job but acts like it can’t make up its mind what direction to do. Also it gets caught on pretty much every rug in our house. We have wood floors and in the bedrooms there’s carpet it doesn’t seem to have any problems there but for some reason it catches up on rugs. Just before we use it we go thru the house and pick up all the animals toys and rugs. Another thing we have a German shepherd and a dachshund and after one run thru our house the bin is full

EXCELLENT PRODUCT. DOES A GREAT JOB CLEANING MY 1300 SQ FT APARTMENT INCLUDING ALL ROOMS. GETS RIGHT TO THE EDGE AND SWEEPS UP ALL DIRT. I'M AMAZED EVERYDAY WHEN I COME HOME. I USED TO VACUUM EVERY DAY BECAUSE I HAVE 3 CATS AND A DOG AND THE PLACE NEVER SEEMED CLEAR OF ANIMAL HAIR. NOW IT'S GREAT! I CAN WALK IN BARE FEET AGAIN. WOULD DEFINITELY GIVE THIS PRODUCT A GLOWING RECOMMENDATION TO ANYONE CONSIDERING THE SERIOUS OUTLAY OF MONEY. IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I love this little helper. I was so amaze how this robot cleans up my space. Such a nice addition to my household. Eventhough I love this robot, i am still torn between keeping this or the I3+ with the cleaning base since I have a lot of allergies. This does the job, although it get stuck mostly on cables and rugs and goes around sometimes banging furnitures. Will see which one I will choose! I highly recommend this.

We have three types of Dyson vacuums and having to vacuum three times a week was overwhelming. I decided to buy this Roomba and let it do all the work. This thing is amazing. It does the work for me and knows exactly where to restart when the battery needs recharging from the first round of cleaning. It does a really good job cleaning but due to the small garbage receptacle it needs to be emptied whilst recharging. I like the mapping feature as it shows the areas that were cleaned.

This vacuum picks up straw and pet fur as advertised. I have a chinchilla and I wanted a vacuum that will suck up pet debris. It does and does an excellent job doing it. The rest of the house is just as clean. I am happy with the purchase.

I absolutely love this thing. I have dark hard wood floors that’s show everything. I don’t have time to sweep everyday due to working long hours. This makes my live so much easier and floors cleaner. I just set the schedule and it does it’s thing right on time. I would definitely recommend to anyone. There is one bad thing though, sometimes it doesn’t make its way back to the charging station before it dies so I have to hunt it down and take it back. Other than that I love it should have bought one sooner.

I was hesitant to spend so much on a robotic vacuum but chose this model after reading other reviews. It does a great job on dog hair and it’s simple to empty the collection bin and put it back to work. This was a life changing purchase.

First off, thank you Best Buy for running Black Friday sales online, very early, and having curbside pickup. Much appreciated through a global pandemic. The vacuum is fantastic. Does a great job so I am not having to vacuum multiple times a week. I just set this thing on it's way twice a week. It's reduced dust in the house by a lot (old house, so anything helps). Super easy to set up and I don't have to do much else.

It's early days yet, and we are still learning how to properly use the little guy, but it seems to be going pretty well. For cleaning carpets, we think it does at least as thorough a cleaning as we can do pushing a big vacuum around. We are delighted that it goes under the couches and tables, but it does get hung up occasionally underneath. We have not yet really discovered if it remembers both the first and second floors, or if it works with a smart phone app. Worth the entire purchase price was to watch our grandkid's dog's first time seeing it: hilarious!

I am so pleased with how this Roomba navigates throughout my house, from wood floors to area rugs, over the thresholds between rooms, under and around furniture, and more. It really picks up cat hair and small bits of things well. The virtual wall gadget sits by my cat food and water, and keeps the Roomba from bumping into them and spilling. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I haven't used it long enough to know if it will continue to work so well.

Had a couple issues of it not completing its full cycle and returning to its charging station. Also fills up with dirt pretty fast. Mostly use it on hardwood floors. Had a throw rug which it couldn't go over, so I have to pick them up the rugs at night before it cleans and it does well weaving between the dining room chairs. Have to say I am very impressed. Might need to invest in one that dumps the dirt itself.

We got this vacuum to help minimize the cleaning around the house. We have hard floors such as wood and tile and the amount of dust and dirt you see on the floor is very visible. This helps get the pet hair and my floors stay clean. We have used it in our carpet but I feel like this is better for hard floors. This one those go up and down. The other ones below go all over the place and dosent get it all. Very good investment. I prefer to use my Dyson for my carpet but I recommend this to anyone and pet owners.

I bought this as a present for my wife. It's a great home assistant keeps the floors tidy all the time. Very easy to use. The collection bin must be emptied after every use to avoid any complications. I also recommend to use double sided tape to keep the home base down if its on tile floors.You must always remember to keep the filter clean to ensure that you're getting full vacuum power.It picks up plenty of pet hair but does not pick up all of it.

This is our third Roomba. We have worn out two an invested a little more money in this one because of the additional features. However, this Roomba has trouble finding its docking station. It also does not stay charged near as long as our previous models. I am still a big supporter of the brand, but I recommend you consider a different model.

From the first time I used my Roomba, I was impressed with how it navigated, but it was pitiful at picking anything up. I tried sweeping carpet and a hard floor, and it left stuff all over the place. There was a little bit of stuff in the dust container, but it was leaving a lot. I was confused because everything I heard about the 960 was that it did a great job cleaning. I was pretty mad because I thought we wasted a bunch of money. But right before I was about to call customer service, I decided to turn it over and look at the roller, and I found a stretched out paper clip wrapped around the roller. It must have pretty much picked it up immediately on the first sweep. I took the paper clip off and tried it again, and now it vacuums like a beast. It did a great job on both the carpet and hard floor. I couldn't be happier with this thing now. It's awesome. So if your 960 isn't cleaning well, there is something wrong, because these things do an amazing job. And the way it navigates around the room is really cool. I chose this model, mostly because it has a cleaning pattern that makes a lot more sense than the older models' pattern that looks like they're just randomly going wherever. One issue I have is that it's not as good with cliffs as I'd like it to be. Especially if you have a low cliff, it will get stuck. My vinyl kitchen floor is about an inch higher than my living room floor. Sometimes it detects it and stays away, and sometimes it gets stuck. I'm using the included invisible wall for that, and it's fine now. But overall, I couldn't be happier, now that I have it working properly. We have a cat, and it picks up a lot of cat hair, which will help a lot with my allergies. This model is expensive, but worth it if you have the money.

My experience so far with this vacuum has been excellent. It vacuums very well and thorough. It’s smart enough to know places it can and cannot get into and only lightly bumps into obstacles, not damaging them. The only negative is that the battery on a full charge only lasts about an hour. However when this happens, it goes back to the recharge station and then when it’s charged finishes the job.
