We had a Hoover Dual V for 10 or 12 years that we gave to our son. We decided to buy a Dyson, but using the attachments with the Dyson was a pain, you have to pull the wand out of the handle to use them and with a 3 foot non removable wand it's hard to get in tight areas. My wife decided she wanted another Hoover so we purchased this one. For less than half the price of the Dyson with the same performance and much easier use of the attachments I'd recommend the Hoover.

I have to say that I am really impressed by this vacuum. My old vac broke and needed replacing. I ordered this and got two canister fulls of dust from around my house with little effort. Set up was easy and this is a much better product than the old vacuum I'd held on to past its prime. Incredibly happy with this purchase.

I just got a new house. Had the carpets cleaned by a company. Bought this vacuum cleaner from Best Buy the first time I used it I pulled up a pile of dog hair out of the cleaned carpets. Unbelievable. This machine is awesome. I am getting less hair every time I vacuum now but I'm still getting hair. Don't look at another vacuum get this one.

Very good vaccum. Easily to handle and pickup particles deep in the carpet.

I was replacing my Bissell Heavy Duty which was the best vacuum I ever owned. It lasted 7 yrs, but they don't make it anymore. I decided to try out this Hoover. It looks nice and has many features but it does NOT pick up pet hair. A $200 Pet Vac to fail at picking up pet hair is completely unacceptable. I have a rottweiler and a yellow lab who are always shedding on the carpet. I tried this vacuum with and without the brush setting. I tried this vaccum on all different height settings. It would only push or drag the hair around the room into lil piles. It just would NOT pick it up into the canister. I had to use the hose, which worked great, to pick up the piles of hair that the vaccum had pushed around. I took it back after having it 3 days and trying it each day. This was a complete waste of my time and money. This Hoover vacuum is simply Garbage!!! Don't waste your hard earned money.

Just out of the box and I see it is NOT a automatically rewind cord . I would have bought a Dyson . Now I have to box this all up & take back o BB . I had it delivered to avoid going into the store

I had an old Wind Tunnel and was ready for a new vacuum. I first bought the new Bissell Pet Hair Eraser that has just come out, but was very disappointed and returned it. (I have six dogs - 3 of them that shed ALOT). I decided to give a newer version of the Wind Tunnel a try and I am glad I did. Cord is long (almost too long) and the vacuum hose is longer than most and GREAT! I also like how easy it is to empty the canister and the filter is washable. It has so much suction at times I have to adjust the height down in order to push/pull the vacuum. It picks up ALL of the dog hair.

The Hoover WindTunnel 3 High Performance Pet vacuum cleaner is decent for its price. It has a powerful suction that can pick up pet hair and other debris, making it ideal for pet owners. The adjustable brush roll height is also a nice feature as it allows the user to customize the cleaning based on the surface. However, the vacuum is a bit bulky and heavy, which can make it difficult to maneuver around furniture and stairs. Additionally, the dustbin is quite small and needs to be emptied frequently, which can be a bit of a hassle. Overall, the Hoover WindTunnel 3 High Performance Pet is a good vacuum for pet owners on a budget.

We ended up purchasing this vac based on excellent reviews and for its price. It was rated tied with a model that cost more than twice the price. I could not be happier. The vac does exactly what it is supposed to do. It cleans very well. It picks up dirt, dust, and pet hair with ease. It is easy to adjust and using the included tools is also a snap. The vac is a little heavy but its not too much of an issue except when going up and down the stairs. Overall price to quality this is a winner hands down!

What can say, I love to vacuum! I also love cats so I need a pretty good vacuum. I love to vacuum with this vacuum- it does the job very well. The ‘one and done’ theory Hoover claims that you don’t have to keep going over the same spot is true- even with cat litter! The attachments are standard but I love this brush attachment- yes, I used it on the walls (to dust- it’s dusty here!) and the acoustic ceiling. I did not give it 5 stars only because the hose attachment use needs several steps to get there- click this lever, turn that dial, then use the hose. But I am really happy with my purchase and it works great for a multi-cat household!

I am loving my Hoover, previous Rainbow vacuum owner. I love the Hoover because it is so easy to use, easy to clean, light weight, great with pet hair, and even amazing on tile (hard) floors. My Dog could not stand the sound of any vacuum but with this Hoover I can vacuum right next to him and he does not even move. This is a very powerful cleaning system. I tell people this vacuum really sucks, and I mean that in a positive way. I would recommend this to anyone that has kids or pets. Hair pick up is wonderful.

I purchased the Hoover WindTunnel 3 High Performance Pet recently to replace a similar Hoover bagless pet model that was 5 years old. Both remove surface debris and also dust embedded in carpet fibers. This model was easy to assemble and is not overly heavy even for active seniors. Overall, a fine vacuum (and far more effective than the old bagged Hoovers.)

This is a powerful vacuum and does the job quite well. Height adjustment is very good and the long power cord allows for more vacuuming without changing outlets. That being said, there are a couple drawbacks. First of all, this unit is heavy...around 18 lbs. Not the best for carrying up and down stairs. Next. The light is useless. Reminds me of headlights on a car from the 20's and no, I'm not that old. The dust brush is cheap and flimsy. Finally, I saw a query about the place of manufacture. Like many things, its made in China. Not sure about the individual components, but the tag says "China". All in all, I could nit-pick this thing, but I'd buy it again.

Does a very very good job of picking up the pet hair!!!!Very powerful suction...it actually surprised me!!!I know that both the Dyson Animal and The Shark are supposed to have a better pet model but considering how well this performs...is it really worth spending the extra $200-$350 for those other 2 models..my only complaint so far is that its a bit noisy and on the heavy side if u are doing stairs with it...but very happy with this product!!

We purchased this vacuum after our last one burned out, and I reviewed a number of vacuums both here and at Consumer Reports (that famous ad-free ratings organization). I needed to choose something that could handle all our pet hair. This one worked so well that we had to empty the container twice while vacuuming one room. It was picking up what our old one had missed for a long time! We have 3 cats, a dog, and a couple teens, so we needed something that would deal with all that. It picks it all up. The tools let you get into corners where pet hair loves to hide. It's solid but not to heavy--a plus for me since I have arthritis and have to use it on stairs. Make sure to follow the instructions on how to protect the vacuum, such as picking up larger objects yourself instead of running over it with your vacuum. Larger objects will damage any vacuum. Protect your investment. The vacuum is bag less so you don't have to worry about running out of bags 10 minutes before the mother-in-law arrives. The filter keeps the air from getting dusty as you vacuum. If you have bad breathing problems, you may need to have someone empty the canister where the dirt/pet hair/dust gets deposited. It wasn't too dusty when I emptied it, but since it's bag less, obviously there is no bag to keep the dust enclosed. The filter and canister where all the dirt gets deposited can be cleaned easily. Just make sure to dry them completely before vacuuming again. It's not super loud and it's not quiet. I play music when cleaning, so noise was never a consideration in my decision or my rating here--performance was. In short, it works great.

I price matched this vacuum and got $60 off. Strong suction but attachments were a bit flimsy. I liked that all the attachments were mounted on the vacuum body. I was not crazy about having to bend down to change fthe setting from bare floor to carpet. I liked that the vacuum had a headlight. A retractable cord would have been a nice touch since the cord was nice and long. Like I said, take the bad with the good...

Had a eureka for many years. Purchased a new one and had nothing but problems within the first three months. got no where with company so decided to research other vacuums. Found Hoover - WindTunnel 3 High Performance Pet Bagless Upright Vacuum and purchased. This vacuum has the greatest suction ever and deep cleaning. I have 2 dogs and vac every day, sometimes twice a day and the dirt and pet hair that is vacuumed up is great. Very easy to clean canister and filter. Will purchase again in future if need be.
