Bought this a year ago.Looked for a Bissel to replace a worn Bissel but due to the Wuhan shortage this was the best available.This item does a decent job of picking up the dogs hair.The rest of the tool is junk,the plastic cord holder and other trim is breaking off.I cant even order replacement parts because its discontinued.When I throw this away it will be another Bissel replacing it.

Purchased the Wind Tunnel 3 High Performance Pet Bagless to replace my old bag Hoover Wind Tunnel. This does great on rugs as long as you have the floor setting to a lower number and use the beater brush (which is not recommended for 2 of my rugs). Without the beater brush, it does nothing. Terrible on hard wood floors, the dog hair just hangs on the brush and I have to pick it off and put in trash. And when emptying the container, do it outside and be prepared to take a shower afterwards. Dust goes everywhere, all of the pet hair and dust does not come out until you beat on the container or reach into it to pull the stuff out. Wish I had realized Best Buy had such a short window for returns. This would have gone back.....now it's 2 months old and headed to Goodwill. And now I have to go back with my old vacuum to get everything that this new one missed..........

I bought this vacuum about a month ago when we installed new carpets. I've had Bissell vacuums for years, but this Hoover had the ability to turn off brush bar for the Berber carpet. We also have pets, and pet hair. The suction is so strong the vacuum just locks down on the carpet, making it a major workout just to push it around.. even on the highest setting on low pile carpets. I totally hate this vacuum. Unless I'm doing something wrong, I would not recommend this vacuum to anyone. Ironically, it seems to be unable to pick up the downy pet hair the dogs leave on the carpet when shedding. You'd think with the incredible suction it could handle that. A waste of money for me. After owning it for 4-5 weeks I doubt Best Buy would take it back. I'm going back to Bissell.

The cord on this machine is constantly falling under my feet. I find I have to pull tight on the cord while vacuuming so as not to step on it. Poor deaign

I am a hoover loyalist. Unfortunately this hoover was not what i was expecting. I have an older model.hoover that i love and wanted to get another one for my upstairs. This one was one sale during black friday so i picked it up. It came with all parts abd easy to assemble. I used it and was suprise that it was light and easy to maneuver. Thats were the good ends. The suction was horrible. I adjust to carpet and still picked up very little. Then i grabbed the cannister handle to move it over the cord so to run over it and the cannister popped off all while the vacuum is running and tilted. I thought it was fluke and reinstalled cannister. Vacuumed again and grabbed cannister handle to move it over some toys. Cannister popped off again. Returned and replaced it again. Same issue again. Very disappointed with this model.

Major disappointment! I read about this product and trusted in the Hoover brand since childhood. This vacuum has been a complete loss. It claims to be easy to use but it is not. It is painful and destructive as well as highly frustrating. First off, the power button is unreliable...most of the time you have to hold it down to the point of pain if you have fingernails. Sometimes the power button sticks and wont turn off without unplugging. But this isn't the worst...the thing is faulty. I followed the instructions for assembly using all parts included. The wand/handle comes off as well as the debris collection part during usage...just randomly. It works like three minutes then starts to fall apart. Sometimes it will only work if you push forward, but if you try to retract (just to turn it which takes the strength of a man), it will go out and fall apart. I had to constantly push the wand and debris collector down to start it back up. This machine is a complete joke...it does not work, it is not worth the money, it should be recalled and discontinued.

The only positive is that it has an adjustable height. The on/off switch is a hollow rubber button that is hard to use if you have any issues with your hands. The pet brush is actually a hard rubber flap that does not pick up any pet hair. The 50 ft cord is not retractable so it constantly gets in the way. The removable dust bin does not fit tightly to the vacuum itself (my husband has to wrap a bungee cord around the vacuum so that the rubber seals are secured together). And the power brush is so wide it is impossible to vacuum in smaller spaces. I will never buy a Hoover again. I feel like I threw away $240.

I thought I was buying a gem! It cleaned okay at the beginning, but shortly after i cleaned it, it didn't work as well as when I first purchased it. A couple of months later I was vacuuming and out of nowhere, a plastic piece broke off. I have no clue where it came from. Now, after only a year of having bought this vacuum, I am having to purchase a new one.

I purchased this Model three months ago. The Height Adjustment no longer works; the Brush-roll On/Off Pedal no longer works. This product is made of all plastic and the durability shows it. I have owned this too long to return it to the store. The closest service center is 78 miles away. This was an expensive item, and now I am stuck with it. I regret having purchased it.
