    Coffee bar is a stretch

The Ninja Coffee Bar system is an attempt to make Starbucks type of fancy coffee at home. Unfortunately, the Ninja coffee bar fails. It's an OK coffee maker but only for regular coffee. For higher end coffee, it pours a small amount and sometimes the coffee tastes blah. What makes this appealing is the built-in Frother but it is just fluff. You cannot get that Starbucks froth. I am still skeptical of the quality of Ninja/Shark products. From past experience the quality is not there. For the record, I am not a coffee drinker...ha ha. However, I do like Starbucks and LOVE Tim Hortons coffee. If I want coffee, which is rare......I will go get a cup.

    Nice coffee maker

My issue is not with the coffee maker but with the misleading of best buys website. I bought the same CF091 model that everyone else is posting that has a clock and plastic stainless trim at the bottom of the unit but mine does not look like everyone else's photos or best buys photos. My unit does have a clock but it is located directly under the reservoir and stainless trim on the bottom is replaced with just black plastic. I do not understand why my machine is different from everyone else's of the same model. Does anyone else have this issue? Is mine an older unit, old style leftover?

Great product until it started leaking

I really liked this coffee maker for the first few weeks that I had it. After that though, it began to leak water from the reservoir which then meant that I couldn't leave the tank full when not using it otherwise I would end up with water all over my counter top. I called Ninja's customer service and they offered to replace my unit, however, they required ME to pay $20 in shipping with no guarantee that the new unit wouldn't have the same issue. After searching about this issue in Google, I found many others have had this same problem. I wish the manufacturer would stand behind the product and offer a replacement at no cost. Given my experience with their customer service, I cannot recommend this product or any other Ninja product.

This machine makes a simple task complicated

I purchased this after my wife read all the reviews and watched all the videos. I love coffee many different ways and I've owned a keurig, nespresso, and cuisinart coffee makers. This machine is by far the most complicated one. Yes, I understand that there are many different options but the cycles take long, pause randomly, and end prematurely. I also hate that I am limited to their serving sizes of half, full carafe, 9oz. mug, or travel mug. The best thing about this machine is the frother which works wonderfully, but the rest of it took a simple task and made it overly complicated.

    Where’s all the coffee?

First morning trying out the new machine, and was surprised that a full carafe yielded no more than three mugs of coffee. Three coffee drinkers drained that thing in one go, leaving no more for stragglers like me who like to top up throughout the morning. The issue (small carafe and tank) could very easily have been addressed at the design stage. Like, why doesn’t the water tank have a bucket handle to lift it out rather than deep inset handhold channels that reduce the volume of the tank? And why isn’t the carafe wider at the top to fit more coffee? The answer is form over function. They clearly decided bucket handles aren’t sleek, and a slender carafe looks nicer in the marketing material. Other than that, I was disappointed to see that the frother is a simply a whisk and NOT a steamer as I’d hoped. Come to think of it, I’m taking off an additional star for that.

Purchased in Nov 2018 and it just went out but it was used 3 to 4 times per day. It was great while it lasted. Spent $200 kinda wish it would've lasted longer but it is what it is. Overall it did it's job.

Love my Ninja Coffee Bar! I've had it for around a year, I usually have 1-3 cups per day and I love all the different sizes/options that are available with this machine. I don't have anything negative to report, it's simple, fast, and makes really good coffee!

I have owned several coffee pots over the years, but this is by far the best one! The coffee tastes great and it's so easy to use. The different recipes that can be made with this is just outstanding!

Worked well for 3 months, then the concentrated brew stopped working, started using 3 times the water supposed to. Customer service offered replacement in 10 days if I sent them a pic of the cord cut, and I pay shipping :( Don’t spend the $. Buy a real coffee brand

    Poor Coffee Maker

My suggestion is to not buy this machine. Mine died about two weeks of use (not steady, but nonetheless). It gives me the 5 beeps of death, where that can be a number of issues, from sediment in the water, not aligning the basket quite right, or just wanted to destroy mankind! And then, if you think that CS is going to help you, think again! They are about as useless as a three dollar bill, where they want you to send it back to them, on your dime! Poor, very poor. Never again Ninja!

    Avoid the Ninja!

For Christmas my husband purchased a Ninja CF091 32CF4 from Best Buy for me. After a mere two weeks it started making only a third (or less) of the water placed in the Removable Water Reservoir. He researched the problem and found that "burping" the air out of the lower tank may solve the problem - AKA Ninja CPR. This seems to be working (for the moment) and SO FAR we've not had the CLEAN indicator problem. HOWEVER - he noticed that the way the fittings work between the removable reservoir and lower chamber will nearly ALWAYS introduce air into the lower chamber. When the removable water reservoir empties it pulls air into the opaque fitting at the bottom of the reservoir, when the reservoir is re-filled the air remains trapped and is then pulled down into the lower chamber. His solution is EVERY TIME you re-fill the removable water reservoir you MUST put it on, and take it off, of the lower chamber several times until the air is evacuated. Seems to me a very poor design.

A little over 1 1/2 years old and my $170.00 coffee maker leaks from under the reservoir! I drink coffee every day. You would expect a little more from a ninja coffee maker that cost almost $200. Out of warranty, out of $200. I guess I’ll be going back to my 8 year old cuisinart! At least it still works and doesn’t leak a drop!

    Terrible product

Terrible product. First unit quit working after about 2 weeks. Best buy replaced with a second unit which quit working after about a month. Worked with customer service multiple times to try to get it working. I hate trying to fight with it every morning to make a pot of coffee or when guests are over. Ninja Customer service offered to send a replacement for$20 shipping but after spending so much on the unit already, I'd rather spend the$20 on a coffee maker I know will work. The coffee tastes good when the machine actually works, but it has far too many glitches for the price. I do not plan to purchase this brand ever again.

    5 Beeps of death

In the trash and no more Ninjas for me. EVER. This was obviously a very poorly designed or barely tested device. After about a year of use, flow issues caused the legendary "5 beep of death" (search this for more horror stories) ever month or so in spite of following cleaning procedure religiously. Tried all the usual . . fully disassemble unit, unplug all the hoses and clean them all out. Still get this problem so frequently, it's totally not worth keeping. It's more work, but my french press makes way better coffee than this junk.

This is my first ninja product (owned for less than 6 months) and at first i loved it but after a few months it started acting up so I called Ninja directly and i had to pay $20 for shipping for them to replace the entire base now is been 2 months since i got the new and is doing the same thing so i am very unhappy with this product. I am researching for a new coffee machine but the reviews are very hard to say which one is not going to go bad again.

    Doesn't work

After two months of use, it would only make about 1/2 inch of coffee regardless of what level I had the setting on for that brew. I called and they are shipping me another one but I have to pay for the shipping. Kind of disappointing that it's a system malfunction, and I have to pay more to get a machine that actually functions. I wouldn't recommend it.
