Phenomenal Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Always looking toward getting the perfect mouse. I have a g502, g903, ss rival 300, scimitar pro, glaive, and this g403. The g403 wins out of all of these mice when it comes to gaming only beat as a daily driver by the g903 but for how much that mouse costs I am a little disappointed that the g403 outperforms during gaming sessions. Great sensor. Great build quality. Perfect size (for me). Glides very well and lightweight unlike the g502. The rival 300 comes close but the g403 is my go to. Highly recommend!

A great mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this mouse as a Christmas gift & was able to get it during a sale. It is a really good bang for your buck. They ended up paracording it with a cord from Paraflexcables & it looks super great & performs really well! He has a large hand but it still fit nicely. It helped them become the most epic gamer.

Best Mouse I Have Ever Used
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have medium-large hands (18.5cm) and this mouse is the perfect size and shape for my hands! It features one of the best optical sensors you can find in a mouse the Pixart PMW 3366 that is super accurate and gives that 1:1 feel when using the mouse. In games, I cannot make it lose track or spin out, even while doing the tilt-slam test. The mouse is rated to 12,000 dpi/cpi but the average person will not use more than 2000 dpi/cpi. It should be noted that this particular sensor can only track 2,100 dots per inch before it begins to subdivide the dots/pixels. Although Logitech handles the subdivision extremely well, subdividing the pixels theoretically introduces more room for error in the tracking. Other than that, I highly recommend this mouse! However, if you have small hands, it may not fit very well. This is a larger mouse and smaller hands may have issues with accuracy and control. I'm not saying it's impossible but just saying that it's something to consider. Although the Omron switches used for the left and right click are really good, they are built to be sensitive. Occasionally, if I'm in a intense battle, I have the tendency to slam the mouse down a little harder than normal when I reposition the mouse. Usually I rest my fingers on the right/left mouse buttons and when I slam the mouse down, the mouse may register a left or right click. This is most likely due to my technique. This is reproducible on just about every single mouse (gaming or not) that I have used, but some mice do it more easily than others. the Logitech G403 Prodigy is one of the easiest to do this on. But this is a gaming mouse, and all of the buttons are easy to click, tactile and register instantaneously thanks to the 1000hz polling rate. Pros: -Comfortable shape -Smooth rubber on sides to aid in grip -On board memory for gaming on different computers -Automatic Application based Profile Switching (While not using on-board memory) -16.8 million colors -Adjustable DPI from 200-12,000 in steps of 50 -Logitech Gaming Software: Lightweight (Also provides an option to monitor system stats via Arx) -Finger grooves on M1 and M2 -5 DPI settings per profile cycle-able via DPI button -1000hz polling rate (no input lag) -Top sensor (Pixart PMW 3366) -10g weight included if you want (I recommend keeping the weight in for better mouse balance) -Logitech packaging is the best, the mouse cable is wrapped around as opposed to folded and then tied up (no kinks vs kinks) Cons: -Sensitive Buttons (For some) -No dedicated side scroll (can be mitigated using macros)

Great until it failed in three months - then hell
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse started acting up with intermittent double-clicking within a month of purchase. As this was outside Best Buy's return window, I tried to contact Logitech for an RMA. First they ignore the request for three days, then they want a screenshot from a test page that shows the double-click issue happening. /After providing this, they come back asking for a video of me clicking the mouse. What kind of nonsense is this? Your mouse broke in a month, just replace the thing already.

Excellent Tracking. No Frills,Solid Gaming Mouse.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse may not look as unique as the G502 or other Razer mice, but don't let the understated looks fool you. Pros: The G403 tracks flawlessly and is so very smooth. So much better than my current Razer Mamba. This may be due to the difference in Optical vs Laser sensor, but whatever the case, I noticed a big difference. The mouse buttons and LED colors can be customized in the Logitech software, which I found much more easier to use, and much more stable than the Razer synapse software, I currently have. Cons: While the wheel has a much better scroll feeling than the rickety G502, the wheel button press does take a decent amount of pressure to activate, which can be cumbersome if used frequently and for gaming. I feel my Razer Mamba has the best scroll press of the bunch, even though it falls behind in other categories. Unfortunately my hand did not fit this mouse, and as much as I loved it, I sadly had to return it. While I don't like the sharp design of the G502 as much, it tracks perfectly as well, and fits my hand much better. Conclusion: As with all mice, I strongly recommend evaluating in person, as everyone's hands are unique and the ergonomics are very different person to person, and depends on your unique grip. This mouse tracks perfectly, is solidly built, and if it fits your hand, is a dream to use!

Excellent Gaming Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this mouse for MMORPG and FPS games as well as everyday productivity. No, it does not have a gazillion buttons and macros but it is a very effective tool and highly accurate. The RGB is a cool feature and not in your face gaudy. The software is intuitive and easy to use, you can assign macros as well as fully adjust the RGB function / even off. The scroll wheel is absolutely perfect, smooth with proper feel to stepping without being to tight or loose. Button clicks are firm and responsive without being to clicky or mushy. There is absolutely no rattle and let's face it this has one of the best sensors hands down (the same as in the G502). It has a braided cable that is a nice tight weave and adds to the look. No added drag that I have noticed with the braided on this one versus the non-braided cable I have on other mice. It has a very good feel and grip. You could go for a little flashier, or adjustable but honestly for medium to large hands I find this to be one of the most comfortable mice I have ever used. It was between this and the Razer Death Adder and I am glad I chose this and saved some cash. When I bought this it was on sale for under $45. For the price this mouse is very hard to beat, and I am very satisfied that I added it to my gaming arsenal... Thanks for reading, hope this was helpful.

Almost as good as my old mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had a G402S for almost 3 years. By all accounts, that means that it's coming up on EOL. I'd been searching for a new mouse for quite a while, and finally found this one. It's a good mouse. It's simple to use, but it also has the DPI button. One difference between this and my old one is that I can't go up AND down with DPI. Instead, if I miss my desired option, I have to rotate through again. The other thing is that it's very light. I like my mice to have quite a bit of heft, so even with the (included) weight, I still feel like it's not quite as heavy as my 402s was. After a few weeks, I'm still not used to it. Other than that, it's great. It's a worthy successor to my last mouse.

One of the top gaming nice .
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fantastic mouse with many things going for it. The sensor is one of the best on the market which is crucial for gamers who need precision in games. The shape is great for a variety of hand sizes and grips. The texture on top and the sides is perfect and comfortable. All of the clicks are also top notch being both quick and responsive. It's also incredibly light in the hand. The RGB lighting on it is nice as well if that matters to you. I have large hands and I had a hard time finding a mouse that fit my hand and felt comfortable. The Razer Deathadder Chroma has a weird flare out shape on the right side of the mouse and was uncomfortable. The Rival 300 was better but the front of it gets narrow which gives it a feel of being smaller than it looks at first glance. I'd fully recommend this mouse to anyone in the market for a top notch gaming mouse at a great price.

great mouse for my needs!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went from a Razor Death Adar to this Logitech G403 great improvement. Great feel, response and easy software. I am a moderate gamer (Skyrim) and have a programming background of 35 years and have used many mice in my time. My hands used to ache after a night of gaming but not with this Mouse. Pros : braided cord, adjustable lighting, 6 programmable buttons, I have the Logitech G910 keyboard on order and this will complement it very nicely Great feel, awesome looking. Cons: none really

Great feel, looks awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A solid mouse without all the unnecessary extra buttons and flare. This mouse is solid, feels sturdy and has a nice extremely subtle texture to it, unlike a slippery cheap plastic mouse. Awesome cycling rgb colors on the mouse scroll wheel (very subtle) and on top where your palm goes so its not distracting when using.

Better than more expensive competition
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Major Positive: This Mouse is VERY affordable and you get some amazing quality for a much lower price than other brands. Even if you were a competitive professional gamer, you would not be able to notice any difference between this mouse and others of comparable size and style. I was a total fan of the Razer Deathadder but I went through 3 of them that failed in the exact same way. This one is far sturdier and the mechanical connection to the buttons can be fixed or replaced without buying a whole new mouse*. Minor Positive: The LED features on this mouse are much cooler than the Deathadder, and you don't have to pay an extra $30 just to change the colors. Minor Positive: The cord is fiber coated with a far smoother mesh than the Deathadder, and it doesn't snag on things anywhere near as much. In fact, it has yet to snag on anything but I was constantly pulling and adjusting my previous mouse cord. Minor Positive: The optional weight is awesome. I never considered something like that. Once added, the device is much more stable and doesn't slide if you take your hand off. Extremely Minor Negative: Didn't come with driver or software software. You have to download it. Not too big of a deal, though.

Highly, highly recommend
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Grip: Hybrid claw and palm grip, closer to claw. Hand Size: 16 cm I HIGHLY recommend this mouse. I tried the Steelseries Rival 300 and the Logitech G303 Daedalus Apex, and Logitech G403 at the same time and the G403 blew the other two out of the water. G303: Reviews warned about hit or miss possible hand cramps and ergonomic unfriendliness of the G303 and it rang true for me. Even after getting used to the shape, I found it still gave me hand cramps after 2 hours of use. Rival 300: definitely had a much better ergonomic shape but it was a bit too small for my liking-made the bottom of my palm drag against my mouse pad. G403: Finally a Logitech mouse with a *normal* build and shape. The size was perfect for my hand size and grip style. It moves quickly with multiple settings and colors to choose from. Sensors are quick and the mouse comes with attachable weights which actually makes a huge difference. I HIGHLY recommend this mouse.

Great Budget Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to the razer deathadder series, this mouse is a lot cheaper, and is similar in size and shape. I bought this during a Black Friday early access deal and instead of paying $70 full price for it, I paid half of that plus free shipping from the online store, so definitely a large amount saved when I bought this. The sensor is nice and the clicks don't require a lot of force to activate either.

Great competitive gaming mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a GE CS:GO player and I switched to 403 from the DeathAdder because they kept breaking down on me (I had two and the scroll button would stop registering clicks and the rubbers on the sides would come off). This mouse is slightly smaller than the DeathAdder, but has a DPI button on the mouse itself. Out of the box, the DPI button comes with 4 settings already installed, but you can change them if you want to download the software. Sensor is standard and haven't had any issues. It's been a month and everything is working as it should be.

Best FPS Mouse on the Market
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Essentially this mouse and the death adder elite are the top two FPS mice on the market IMO. They both run top of the line sensors and are incredibly ergonomic. The g403 is also very light which makes it perfect for snappy movements and flicks. What it came down to was that the size of the Logitech g403 is perfect for me and the scroll wheel and clicking actions are both amazing. This is an amazing mouse at an amazing price and I would recommend it to any and all FPS players.

This is one of the best gaming mouse out there!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use Razer products and own a Razer DeathAdder Chroma myself. But when I bought this Logitech mouse, I was completely amazed how much comfortable and sleek this mouse felt as opposed to my Corsair and Razer mouses I own! I use this mouse for intense gaming like World of Warcraft, and Destiny 2, and I must say this mouse has greatly improved my skill advantage online. Also loving the 6 programmable buttons it has and the software and drivers are very good. Overall, what a great Logitech product!

Great Mouse with a Fatal Flaw
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mouse feels great, has a great sensor, fast tracking, great software, very ergonomic for bigger hands, but it has a plethora of mouse scroll wheel issues which plagued me after the first few months. Scrolls in random directions. After researching its a common problem with the mouse, if bought, buy a warranty with it because chances are you'll be returning it.

Excellent mouse, especially when wireless!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fabulous mouse. I've used a Deathadder in the past, and the G403 feels a lot like it, only a bit lighter and smoother. I started off with the wired version of this mouse and fell in love, but then I saw the wireless version up for only a few dollars more, so I returned the wired for it. I can definitely say that the wireless version is well worth it. The mouse operates superbly with a wire, but without, it's even better. I love this mouse and highly recommend it, especially if you can pony up to get rid of the wire.
