    Great positional audio!

Its a great headset, I love the bass, definitly an upgrade from my previous headset. I love the DTS positional audio. I do know that most people say that surround sound on headsets are gimmicky and its better to get a stereo ones. Well, on these, its not gimmicky at all. The 7.1 works wonderful. I mainly play Rainbow six siege and Battlefield one, and I can tell you these have given me the edge. I can hear everything, specially on Rainbow six, where sound matters much. I got the jump on people above me, behind me, etc. It's amazing. You can configure one button to mute (however folding the mic, mutes it) so I have configured the button to enable/disable the 7.1 surround (good to disable when playing music, or stereo videos). I wear glasses and they are comfy, after a long gaming session, not hurting at all. Only downside is they only work through their USB adaptor (which is a soundcard too, and 7.1 at that). They don't have a 3.5mm analog input for the likes of phones, or xbox one. I've read some people using them on the PS4 since it accepts usb headsets, but don't quote me on that, I mainly game on PC.

    Perfect For Me

For some people 7.1 positional audio for gaming is a gimmick. However, for me it works very well with the right headset. I spent a little time adjusting the equalizer settings/bass & treble levels in the G533 & it made a huge difference. For example, playing BF1 using the FPS equalizer preset the exploding canon shells & other environmental cues sounded great but the soldiers weapons & footsteps were muffled & muddy sounding. After creating a new equalizer setting the game came alive having a crisp, clear bright sound that brought out details & made everything sound more authentic. Had I not made adjustments to the G533 I would have returned it. Glad I took the time to discover how good a wireless headset can be. I bought my G533 from BB when they were 1/3 less than the original asking price. I noticed today they are $20 less than that – guess its a special won’t last. For either price I think the G533 is a bargain. I’m very happy with mine.

Good range Great sound quality Comfortable even after long hours of wear Long battery life My biggest complaints are that the volume control is a wheel on the back of one of the ear cups, which I tend to unintentionally bump often and that the headset falls off my head easily when I bend over but I did have that problem with my previous headset as well (though with this one it is a bit worse, but it is also heavier, so the weight would obviously contribute to that).

The most important thing you should know about this headset is that the battery is user-replaceable. You can buy the batteries on Logitech's website. The sound quality is decent and never cuts off. The mic works as it should. I can walk to another part of my house and still hear what is going on. The battery lasts about 16 hours according to the Logitech software, and it feels that way. You can use it while it's charging with usb cable it came with.

Headset is very light and comfortable for a mesh type padding although I prefer a soft leather feel but the padding looks changeable. The sound is excellent for wireless headset.

A nice upgrade from my 930 headset

I had a Logitech G930 for about 6-7 years but was looking to upgrade after the microphone starting intermittently shorting out and the ears cups began to flake a bit over the last year. I chose the G533 for its cleaner design, feel and sound and have found it to be a nice improvement over the G930. It feels lighter, sits a bit more comfortably on my head and the cloth ear cups allow your ears to cool better than the 930's faux leather. With the newer 7.1 drivers in the G533 music has a more orchestral/auditorium feel to it compared to closer "room" sound I was getting with the G930, but you can tweak the equalizer to whatever sensitivity you want in the options menus. I have noticed that you are not able to tweak the treble and bass as much in the options now, but check youtube for some tutorials to get the settings that are preferable. Surround sound has improved well and I have noticed the directional noises (like footsteps, gunshots and vehicles in games like PUBG) are more precise and definitive to aid in gaming. Overall, the G533 headset has some nice improvements my previous G930 and I would say if your trying to decide between between the G533 or the G933, go with the style of headset you like. I looked at lots of reviews for both before deciding and ultimately chose the cleaner, more traditional styling of of the G533. I have been very happy with my purchase of the G533 so far and will likely have this set for a long time. It's comfortable, durable, has a 15-16 hour battery life and has a great sound.

    Awesome Skype for Business headset

Use it with my laptop for all Skype and VOIP calls. The sound quality is awesome and the noice cancellation works well. love that flipping the mic wand up mutes the mic without killing the call. Battery life is superb - more than all day long on calls. Also, because they cover the entire ear (over the ear design) they're very comfortable wearing for hours art a time. No ear fatigue. Only funny thing is if it sit dormant for more than a half hour it needs to be turned on an off (reset). Sometimes it also requires unplugging and replugging in the receiver fob. If I had my wish, I'd also make the transmitter/receiver fob a little smaller as it's a little unwieldy sticking out of a laptop - but it's livable given that the functionality far outweighs that minor gripe.

I use this headset for playing GTA 5 or Battlefield 1 during long gaming sessions (2 hours plus). The headset is comfortable and breathes better than the previous model. Battery life is a solid 8 hours of gaming. I do miss the USB holder / charging cord that came with the previous model. If you want to use this headset while charging, you'll need to take up two USB ports.

This headset works just as I would like it to, it fits around my ears with a firm but not too tight fit. The sounds are crystal clear in games and chats. Pros: Fits well Adjustable Mic and fit Long Charge Range Cons: Rotates a bit too easy when not on head, but nothing to worry about.

The only fault of this is the software in if you get a bad unite that the speaker goes. Out. Which happened to me after a while . But for the price it's built nice battery holds up good the sound quality is really great . You can customize the eq settings for it .it can be wired and be pulg in while using it in the wireless aspect . The software it the only let down since after I did an update the head set would start acting weird and not save my settings of how I wanted to listen to music and game sound on my PC . It work will with my Xbox one . I was told buy Best buy when I returned these for my issue of the speaker not working in one ear and the mic being broken that they were discontinue but in reality they sell sell them online . Which is sad cause I would have love to get them again instead of the g933 which I had more issues with personally

Got this on sale at Black Friday. I like it a lot as my first wireless headset. It's a whole new element using one. It completely covers my ears, sounds different than my old ones, and wearable for hours. I'd recommend this headset for anybody in the market for one. P.S. Anybody who watches Twitch streaming.. This is the headset SHROUD uses when he plays PUBG.

I bought this for my wife and she loves them. She wears them even when she's not sitting at the computer. I think she's taking a small break to run to the kitchen to grab something to drink and they are so comfortable to her that she just keeps them on. And she loves that they are wireless. It makes me wish that I bought a pair for myself.

I was hesitant about buying a wireless headset after a previous experience with one, and connectivity issues, and my wired headset for some reason gets a lot of feedback causing an annoying buzzing while gaming. This headset I am happy to say sounds great even comparing to a more expensive Turtle Beach. It connects without any issues. fairly light weight and comfy. Battery life seems great (I would have liked to seen a battery bar style indicator on the unit instead of the single led that slowly changes color from green to red). I think I am starting to become a big fan of the Logitech brand as I have yet to have any issues with any of their products.

Super comfortable, easy to connect if you are a little Win savvy, and the sound is rather nice. The negatives I have found are only that it randomly beeps as if I'm pressing buttons some nights but then it won't do it for a while. Could be my unit? I bought these cans because they make some of the best soundstage in this price range and I have to agree. The Dolby effects are even better through these. The only other small reason I deducted a star is because I wish part of the controls were on the other side of the head or away from each other. I might go to mute but will accidentally turn up the volume.

I really like this headset... It is my first wireless headset. Good sound quality and range. Mic stays nice and tucked away when not in use and the tilt to mute feature is handy. Wireless range is good too, curious to see how battery life will be over time, but right now its still operating on its initial charge.

I found this headset to be comfortable and easy to setup/use. Great sound with long battery life. However, when it’s not in use, you do hear the plastic exterior makes noise. For people wondering if this works with other systems besides the PC, I have tested and verified that this will also work with the PlayStation and Switch (via the USB located on the back of the dock). This will NOT work with the Xbox One system. Worth the price when it’s on sale. Thanks.

The sound is crisp, and the base is deep and better than my previous Logitech G930 headset. I really enjoy using these with both gaming and listening to music. I play PUBG, WoW, CSGO, and Fallout 4. The sounds I am able to hear in-game are nuanced and have added depth and a level of play I was missing with 5.1 surround. The battery has held up well and still is around 15 hours even after a year of daily use. This headset is amazing!
