This vacuum is able to get all the dog hair up on any surface. It is easy to clean and lightweight.

I just moved to Minnesota and have carpet in my bedroom in this new rental. Usually a swifter guy, but needed a vacuum to satisfy both hardwood floors in living area and bedroom. Actually went to BestBuy looking for a router/modem combo and decided to walk over to Dyson section to "browse". The Dyson lady, Magdelena came over, showed me how thoughtfully constructed this vaccum was and I was sold. She also told me that it lasts for many years so decided to make an investment. Very happy with it so far. I initially got the V7, but the power wasn't to my satisfaction. Saw V8 selling in Costco for $299 (cost of V7) at the time so came back to store, asked for pricematch for V8 and they did. So happy with it. No regrets.

both it for my daughter coz I own one and I love mine its easy to handle light and I use it to vacuum my stairs it suck the dirt pretty good and my daughter love hers too.

What a great job this vacuum stick does! Dyson is the best and this Silver/Nickel model V8 does an awesome job at picking up just about anything, especially our Yellow Lab dog hair! Highly recommend this item!

Battery lasts a good amount of time. Great in hard wood floors. Great in rugs. We have thick carpet so have to use it on the low setting but works great. Highly recommend

Works as expected but like many of the reviews the battery does not last long especially in high mode which is what you really need to pick up the dirt. It’s a little top heavy as well

Love the new V8 Dyson very powerful and quiet. I had the V6 before. I tied all the other handheld vacuums and although they are cheaper we’re awful to use and very very heavy and noisy. This one is really the best good quality

It's so lightweight that you can use it anywhere. It's worth the money for sure. Be forewarned that the battery only lasts for about 15 minutes (on the high setting) but it's worth the ease of use.

Four stars because it’s pricy. Had to buy flexible hose to be able vacuum my car. Also will have to buy power head attachment for wooden floors which will make this vacuum cleaner even more pricy. Otherwise it’s great and easy to use, durability, only time will tell.

Love this vacuum - only thing I would ask for is more time before having to charge again but for the most part, it's sufficient time. It's just such an easy vacuum to use!

Great cordless vacuum, the max suction option consumes a lot of battery but you can go away with the other option.

Best vacuum ever picks up sand and dog hair so well

Decent suction but is very loud on hardwood floors. I like that it is lightweight and flexible. I think on natural hardwood with some bends and curves it doesn't do such a good job of picking up debris. But overall a good vacuum!

This is our second Dyson vac and this one is better than the V7! Much stronger and the battery seems to last a bit longer. Worth the money as usual!

Dyson has the best vacuum I have ever used. Lightweight and powerful suction. Very easy to use. I would definitely get another when this wears out...if it ever does.
