Excellent mechanical keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It really is a great keyboard, I don't play anything that can use macros so the lack of macro buttons isn't a negative to me, not being able to change the color of the key back light could also be considered a negative but if you feel the need for that then there are plenty of more expensive boards that you can get that with. I chose this because of price > mechanical keys > and a combination of manufactures rep and the beauty in simplicity this board has, it's not some large gaudy gaming board. It also matches my mouse lol

Premium Keyboard for All Occasions
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old mechanical keyboard was having an annoying stutter (duplicate key press transmissions) and one of the CTRL keys had a 50% chance of registering any given press. Switches- After poring over reviews, I ended up buying two (2) G413's because the price was very reasonable, and I prefer to use the same key layout/tactile profile at home & work. I had previously liked the MX Blues for their audible feedback, but Logitech has created a contender with these Romer G switches. Fit & Finish- If you're a slob like me, it seems that it will be very easy to clean the *body/frame* of this keyboard. The switches are essentially surface-mounted (not sunken in a "well") with the keycaps floating above the superstructure. Another review mentioned the keys' matte coating is a grease magnet. I can confirm that if you eat Doritos while typing, you will notice a sheen under cool-temp/fluorescent lighting. I love how subdued - but PREMIUM - this thing looks & feels. As expected, it's much denser than any OEM board, or whatever butterfly-feather-spring design that Apple foists upon its loyal fashionistas these days. Here, only the top is metal, with the rest of the housing done in a black polymer, making it appear thinner overall. It does NOT offer an RGB light show: it glows arctic white; that's it. I do like the reflection of light glowing from underneath each key onto the metallic top plate. Curb Appeal- As I mentioned, I am using my other G413 at the office. Some coworkers are jealous, but no one has yet accused me of creating a distraction with my keyboard's ground-effect lighting + rear spoiler. Areas for Improvement- This board has USB "passthrough," meaning there are 2 USB-A plugs to connect to your system. One drives the lighting & data for the keyboard, and the other is basically a USB extension cable for the one (1) USB-A port on the rear edge. (I use it for a Logi Unifying receiver w/ my MX Anywhere 2S.) ....This board would be even better if it incorporated a bonafide Hub to provide ~3 more ports right at finger's reach. It also lacks dedicated shortcut keys. Who's it For- Us normies who still have to interface their brain with the digital world via touch-typing at 100+ wpm. Who it's Not For- Those who enjoy setting hex-color values for each individual key.

Bring the noise.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, where to start. The down arrow kept getting stuck so I bought this. My first keyboard over 20 bucks and there is really nothing special about it. The keys are back lit and white. It is super clickity clackity which is loud and awesome. Last thing is that there is no stupid rainbow flashing rgb, thank god.

Great keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Huge upgrade over my old pressure pad keyboard - I like the levels of brightness for the backlit keys and I actually like that it's just red instead of white or rainbows. keys are smooth, maybe a touch too sensitive.

So happy with this keyboard!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clean looking, smooth feeling, super satisfying-to-press mechanical keyboard, my younger brother recommended I buy this and I have no regrets. Wound up matching my mouse and headset with other Logitech product because of the quality feel of this keyboard. I’m a first time PC gamer but wanted a “cafe look” to my setup. Would heavily recommend, especially for the price.

Great mechanical keyboard
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it. I wanted a solid mechanical keyboard for work and this one makes the great clack and squeak and feels great to use. I tested much more expensive gaming keyboards in the store but loved the feel of this one the most. It is for gaming but it is still a full size 107 key board and the backlight is a nice touch. Without loading any software I can adjust the brightness of the backlighting among several settings, so perfect.

Great for FPS
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mainly play Rainbow Six Siege. The buttons feel responsive and feel little to no lag. The keyboard feels heavy and doesn’t easily move on my desk. Though if your a low profile keyboard player you won’t like this. The only suggestion I would recommend is buying a keyboard wrist pad as the keys see very high.

VERY impressed with my first Logitech!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried many keyboards over the years, mainly a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate for around 5 years. Switching to the Logitech G413 was a little difficult at first. I was used to the LOUD type writer sound. The Romer-G switch has been excellent after getting it broke in! I would definitely recommend! ALSO, the extra included,

Good but had to replace it once
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this keyboard for about 3 years, though I’ve had to replace it about two years ago as the “S” key came off while playing a game, but Logitech’s customer support was able to ship a replacement for free. It’s a good keyboard, and it was my introduction to mechanical keyboards. The Romer-G switches feel good to type and game on with a nice tactile bump so you don’t have to press the keys all the way down to trigger a button press.

Started Great but Ended Up Dissapointed.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the black with red back lighting version of this keyboard in store about 3 years ago as my first mechanical keyboard. Pros: -Attractive design -Metal top frame -Solid and sturdy feel. Wont move without you wanting it to. -Doesn't look like a "gamer" thing. -USB pass-through -Easy to read font on the key caps. -Easy to clean -Logitech G Hub software is easy to use Cons: -Cheap sounding large keys like the space-bar and backspace. -Very poor durability on the key cap side. -Version I had only offered red lights. Can't change to something else. -Custom Romer-G switch means you can't easily replace key caps. -After 3 years some keys dont register every time, and others will register two presses even if I only press the key once. -The plastic used for the key caps will wear smooth into an oily looking shine. Gross. The problems started a little more than a year in with the ALT key randomly popping off. No problem, easy enough to put back on, but over the months its started happening to more and more keys. Primarily the Alt, Windows and CTRL keys. Upon inspection I noticed the tabs on the underside of the key caps have broken off in the corresponding hole in the switch. Each key cap has 4 thin plastic tabs that go in holes on the switches. They are NOT durable and apparently one or two will break off flush with the holes on the switch so they can't be removed. Even with tweezers. About this time last year I decided to give the keyboard a good cleaning, removed all key caps and washed them in soapy water. It was nice, keyboard felt like new. But when removing the key caps I noticed a majority of the caps have broken tabs on them. Most of the keys on this board feel loose now and can easily be removed. I have to fix the CTRL and ALT keys daily now because they are constantly falling off. Another complaint is that some of the larger keys like the space bar and back space are very clanky sounding. I think it has to do with how the stabilizers are designed. Its not defective, just not designed well. I wish they would have stuck to a more standard mechanical switch like Cherry MX. That way the stems come from the key caps would be thick and sturdy and easily replaced if broken. Its hard to see but in the photo circled in blue are the tabs that break and the hole in the switch the tab broke off in. Its like this on a large number of the keys.

Good Mechanical Board - Fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good board - a little quieter than the typical cherry MX keyboard, due to Logitech's Romer-G switches. Nice and fast. Don't get me wrong, I like the cherry switches, but if you prefer something a little quieter - these are great! Board is a little pricey, for not having a built-in wrist rest and lacking programmable keys. The powered USB is a nice touch, as well as the tactile gaming key-caps included in the box.

good keyboard for price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Personally love the lights because it can help with late night gaming/typing. Cons are that it is only solid red color. About it really. -Keys are both smooth and pretty quite. -Has a USB connection on the keyboard itself but you do need to use two USB ports to make the one on the keyboard work. Build quality is good and sturdy.

Excellent noisy keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love a mechanical keyboard. The sounds they make, how responsive they are, how sturdy they feel- and with this one, I don't think you can go wrong. The keys feel punchy and the metal board makes it feel very clean. The only issue here is that there is a distinct metal reverb when typing that I've not heard in other mechanical keyboards I've owned. It's not really a problem, but it is a noticeable noise. The keyboard comes with additional keys, so you can swap out your 1-5, QWER, and ASD if you feel so inclined. This extra keys are specially indented to differentiate them from other keys. It also comes with a tool to pull out the keys, which is nice. Personally, I don't feel the need to do that, but it's still a nice inclusion. To get the most out of the keyboard you have to download the Logitech G-Hub software. This allows you to control macros, keyboard brightness and glow settings (because of course it has LEDs in it), special commands, and so on. As far as controller hubs, this one isn't bad. It has a very small footprint on the RAM, about 5mbs, and is pretty unobtrusive. For for advanced users there are profiles that you can setup for various activities, but I don't really need that. My favorite feature of the board is the second USB passthrough. It allows you to connect a mouse, or any other USB device, to the top right corner of the keyboard. So, if you're old fashioned like me and don't like wireless peripherals, it's great for reducing the amount of cord clutter around. Just be aware that this does mean that the device requires two USB ports to plug in. Overall, this is a great mechanical keyboard. Typing on it is a breeze and, outside of the metal reverb when typing, I can't really come up with any negatives. For a $70 mechanical keyboard, I highly recommend it.

Study, minimalist, and quiet
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a nice keyboard that would fit my more minimalist look in my office. After purchasing this keyboard and taking it out of the box I knew it was the perfect one. Let's go over my pros. 1. The key board feels heavy and we'll made 2. The key switches are quiet and responsive 3. The style is simple and elegant 4. The cord is braided and study as well Now for my cons. 1. My setup is indeed minimalist but I still (like many gamers) enjoy rgb, the holy passage into gaming setup prestige. And sadly this keyboard only has two settings black and white. 2. While the body of the keyboard feels study after some use I have noticed that some of the keys around the numpad kinda just fall out. Sometimes due to me passing my hand over and knocking one out of I look down to just find it out of it's place. Nothing major but something that happens to mine. 3. The cord is very sturdy but also really think and that may not be an issue for most but finding a way to fit that in my setup was a nightmare. Overall I love this keyboard and aside from the cons I would recommend this keyboard to anyone who loves a minimal look. P.S. I'm not to savvy with switches and keyboards so all I can say about the keys themselves is that they feel nice to me personally.

A mechanical keyboard not just for games.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great, minimalistic keyboard that does excellently in everything that I need it to. I do a lot of gaming and the keys feel great and responsive. However, I am also a student and this keyboard is comfortable and fast to type on. In fact, the only reason that I am writing this review is to give me an excuse to use my new keyboard. The Romer-G keys are awesome. They don't have the audible click of a cherry MX-blue (don't get me wrong, they are plenty loud, just not annoyingly so) and allow you to type quickly and comfortably.
